if u practice alot alot alot, u will play like her. if u have inspiritaion, and an ear for music, u will compose like antonio lauro or augustin barrios etc etc. if u have guts u will perform on stage in front of an audience. so its not a matter of "if u can", its a matter of "if you will". its not just talent, it's ambition and never giving up.

@hasnachos I would say that it's not just practice although it's also not all talent. I was self taught for several years and progressed at a snail's pace but as soon as I was given direction my progress skyrocketed. I would add to your advice by saying that you must practice a lot a lot a lot of only the right habits and techniques. Most people learn a bunch of bad technique and struggle forever to correct them but if all of your steps are in the right direction you can go so much further.

@AnAngryShrubbery if anyone voted down it is obvious they do not enjoy technical tallent. Perhaps they are only looking for the latest pop tune and they somehow got lost and found music that their brains likely can not even comprehend.

My girlfriend can not enjoy classical or spanish guitar no matter how many times I play various artists over and over. It has not rubbed off on her. I think she finds it too complex. it is too much musical variation for some people to handle I think.
