@TRUCKERMcD There were no 90 kph on the ice but on the snowy road. That's fine, considering the weight of a full truck and a straight road. I for example have driven 150 kph (car, not truck) and still was ok (no faster because it wasn't AWD and it had summer tires).
On the ice it's maybe 20mph, and only the surface cracks, and it's due to the weight of the vehicle. Vibration aside (at high speed), standing still would be worse than moving so speed is not such an aggravating factor there.
I'm sure JV, Nuna, Tli Cho or RTL, and Diavk will like to see this. 90kph on the ice... no wonder I haven't seen that truck up here in the last two years!
You got to be a dum ass truck driver going dat fast in da snow u could not drive my truck but keep it trucken stay out shit and hold it between da lines 10-4
you coulnt pay me to be an ice road trucker. ima stick with my pete 389 and 387 and roll out west and back to the east coast at home in md and move to florida where its hot all year around and truck through out florida and the southern states and out and about in southwestern states. but keep truckin good buddy. nice video 5*

You are going alot faster, then i would feel comfortable with on the snowy roads :P
But then again, trucks in Europe are limited to 90 kph, so thats, what we are used to :)

Hey Sean! That's exactly what I was going too say. That's what cracks the ice, but a REAL professional truck driver would know that.

This is as real as it gets. It still seems scarey and really cold and dangerous. The hula girl and ornament would distract me to no end.

Do you use special winter tires up north in snow? How does the truck maintain grip and stay on road in all that snow?
