Balthier reveals to Ashe that his father, Cidolfus Bunansa, made him a Judge. One could assume he was made a Judge Magister, but the fact that not a single Judge Magister Balthier faces during the game recognizes him, he most likely was just a lower-ranked Judge. Judge Magister's often meet without helmets so they know what their colleagues look like.

wow oO where did you find their ages? I just know the age of reks that was 17 =O I don´t remember of them saying their ages, do they? =O

They don't say their ages during game of course. But you know that cause it's written in your game's user guide or so many other sites (basch is 36 so Gabranth too and Balthier is 22) .

And for Balthier being 16 it's written in many sites exposing an Ivalice Timeline^^

and just to complete my sentence aUhaUhauha I forgot to say that I believe that the age of balthier doesnt matter cause Gabranth/Noah is young as Balthier, maybe even younger then Balthier and he is a Judge Magister =]

but i think (in my opinion, of course) that balthier was a judge magister too, cause if he was a normal judge, like a normal foe that you fight all over the game, that would make no sense for him to say that he was a judge, he would probably say that he fought for the empire, I believe that would make no sense to him say "judge" like something more then a normal foe, if he wasn´t something higher, but still, thats my opinion of course xD

Yes it would be also possible but I don't think so cause it's almost sure that Balthier escaped from Archadia in 700 at 16 year old to become a sky pirate. So He would be too young to be a judge magister in my opinion XD

i mean bergan mentions judge zecht (reddeas) who was a noble warrior

why didn't say anyone something like "that reminds me of judge bunansa...to bad he wasn't as useful for the empire as his father was" xP

so i would assume that balthier was a regular judge an officier of the ministry of law and order

it's just my opinion to conclude that "Magister" refering to the higher level of archadian army and because of you can see and fight ordinary "judges" in the ff 12 bestiary during the game (In the leviathan airship) ;-)

Thank you so much! Yes you're totally right. But I had not enough time to add him and I choose to talk about only Judge Magisters, and I don't think Balthier was a Judge Magister but only a judge (because of his young age).
