A lil bit of love, a lil bit of hope a lil bit of KA-SSHHON (caution) - for the longest time I thought they were saying "Passion" - that's Uganda's impression of a European / American accent, odd and irritating. Song's ok though, good message
Bwekubakulinda, nadala abaato mumyaka, temupapa, atemwe abafumbo mukume obwesigwa... very true guys! Twandibade tukola namanyi nga tetwebaka, bulilunaku nga twetala..... we need to pray... Impressive thinking, message and performance. Guys you pulled up this one! I am proud of you.
O mankind! Lo! We have created you from male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware. Surah 49 verse 13
Lovely song, great message and amazing collaboration.Way to go UG artists.Yes a little bit of honest love for each other is all humanity needs. LOOVE IT.
Wow, such sophistication, and not because of english being spoken, but dear God, Im from Tanzania and this is a triumphant effort. If there is going to be an EAC, we know who the cultural leader will be.
Must admit, you guys are INCREDIBLE! I am in like or rather in luv with the song and the message. Hey, keep up your good job and let the empty minds not discourage you...it's a good cause!!!TWO THUMBS UP FOR YOU!That's wyhy Iam gonna play it again and again!
A very gd song, wit a very gd meaning, n sung by very gd singers. yup AIDS is reali, listen 2 de song carefully and lets follow their advice, dis is de reason, I prefer Ugandan music cos our singers dont just sing about LOVE, dey also sing about real issues, dat are happening in de world. God bless u.
I love this song VERY VERY MUCH! you guys are really good! Lots of great voices. This song is so soul touching make me think of my country(LIBERIA) with tears in my eyes.
Guys regardless of what languages they used, but I really appreciate this song more than. They do not only send a message to UG but also entire continent of Africa.
I love this song. Beautiful song. But i'm worried africans are loosing their culture. It seems to me they forgot about their ancestors, who where they and where they from. I really not appreciate those who singing in english but proud of those who sing in ugandian. Peace! From Mongolia.
hun its not abt the tongue they used i mean wit the diversity goin on u have to over look language plz this song hs a grt meaning dnt over press wit language...
No i agree with gunbilegt, when we start hearing people in the west speaking an african language, at least swahilli as it is wide spoken, then i can say its sharing culture. When ever artist sing in English it doesn't sound as nice as in baganda or Swahili. So artificial tome. All in all i did love the song though, made me cry,
there is NO language called ugandian [sic]. Appreciate the music and stop complaining about petty issues. There are many languages in Ug...singing in one language reduces the reach of the music.
@gunbilegt my brother u know in africa we don't intend to be mean with our resources thus the reason as to why there is use of english in the song coz the fight against AIDS by ugandan artists isn't 4 only UG but 4 the entire world anyway if they hadn't used english would u click any thing
sweetie, what ugandan chick are you if you dont know that Uganda is The pearl of Africa. You need to brush up on your history. Hint: Churchill named our country...
Wonder how Baby Joe's Whisper sound would work out in this song??? May be out some sort of colour on the whole song!!!I think its a genius and unique creation!
Well I know a few of them...let me see if I can help a bit: We have Steve Jean (in red shirt),the blu3 ladies(Cindy, Lilly and Jackie), Annet Nandujja (holding the baby),Joanita Kawalya (of the Afrigo band), Juliana Kanyomozi, etc. Cant name the others for now. Hope someone else helps.
In addition to Kasule68's list the following artists were all featured: Mosh (US army uniform), Kid Fox (kneeling down), Peter Miles (singing by the car). I don't who the rapper was though. Also the guy in red is not Steve Jean but Humphrey. Hope this helped.
I can help you with one more, the guy in white doing a part in luganda in the rap sequence, falling down on his knees when he says "we need to pray" at the end of his part, that's Kid Fox.
Humphrey, Sophie Gombya, Mesach semakula, Peter miles,Chagga,l hear sweetkid's voice as well at 2:48, but he didnt feature. who is the guy in a blue shirt at 3:08?
Great song! Great message! Great artists! You guys make me proud to be Ugandan. Such a great variety of musical genres all brought together in one song...the composer of the song was a genius! Reggea, Ugandan country style(Annet Nandujja), Ugandan rap, etc boy that was brilliant!I loved the "yeah..yeah...yeah" part by Steve Jean and Julaina towards the end...sweet!!

Beautiful song-and a message to appreciate life more ,one must be more smater and cautious, and wiser. This message in a song is a good tear jerker, and show stopping bringing us more together.Send those votes in people .
