@alyawara Sahara orig. came from a breeder on the East Coast who is no longer breeding. However, Sahara is a breeding cat and has kittens that are often little Sahara clones. Check out my website for info (link on the right of my channel). To find other breeders with the same kind of cat search for Shaded Golden Persians. Sahara is a 'chinchilla' which means she has a very light, clear coat. All of these Persians are born almost black, so it's hard to predict coat color as adults.

This looks like my flame point male cat. When he was a kitten he had apricot points that were perfectly colored in all the right places. As he matured (he is 10 years old now) his points have blended and his coat looks really similar to your cat in this video -his eyes are a sky blue and the blending is a very light apricot on cream coat. Later I read this can be due to grooming practices but I am not entirely sure.

I just sent you a video of my girl Janelle - she´s a golden shaded persian, and it always amazes me how much they look like the golden chinchilla. I know there *are* differences of course (from a breeder´s pov), but aren´t Persians just such sweeeet cats?! :)

I miss my Janelle - she now lives with my best friend, because she didn´t get on with one of my other cats, and it was a nightmare for her.... but she´s in the bestest hands with my friend! :)
