Awkward looking mechanism, I would suggest the Cam Caddie over something like this. It's $38 and extremely effective. I've been using mine for a couple years and it's done me right every time.
@Waltz1005 Thanks. For what it's worth I was able to get it to work. I just sat down one day and refused to get up until it was balanced. It took me about 45 minutes the first time, and now it only takes me 5 minutes since I know where the balance points are.
Once it was balanced it worked pretty well, anything better would cost over $1,000.
@thevideoride man i sat there all day working with mine.. I emailed the company and I'm still waiting on a reply.. Would you mind makin a quick video on how to balance it with the "off-set plate?" Thanks bro
@Waltz1005 I wish I could, I'm moving and the stabalizer is packed away in storage. I should have it back in a couple of weeks. I'll be happy to create a video then. Sorry.
@AWaltzProductions I purchased the extra weights, which is only a bunch of washers you can buy at the local hardware store. But first you have to take care of the side-to-side balance using the extra arm, then take care of the front-to-back balance. I had a stack of the biggest washers I could find and loaded up the rear bolt since the lens is so heavy. Your eyes will light up when you pick up the stabalizer and the whole thing just sits there and doesn't move.
@thevideoride lol that's how i had it at first and it didnt look right... after fiddling around with it i found a balance point. The only problem is i cant hold it w/ one hand w/ out it circling.. Any suggestions?
You need to do your studies on the product that you are planning to present before creating a video. Otherwise you sound like a person who has no idea what he is talking about.
@itsmonti1 I'm not going for an in-depth review. I just wanted to share what I learned.
You're right though, I didn't know what I was talking about. I was a newbie trying to learn.
Since this video I was able to figure out the stabalizer and it worked pretty well. It took a lot of patience to get it balanced, but I was happy about the results.
Dude, figure out the stabilizer. You are wasting energy and extra effort using the cruddy tripod. Take the time to learn it. I just ordered one, and I will tell you how I feel about it.

do you think this would work for my canon hfs100>

@from07till Yes. I think this stabalizer system will work with the hfs 100. Just to be sure I could email Balvanz to check.

@geetarRamblin Dude. I did. It does work, but I would still invest a better solution for camera stabalization.

I see what you're saying, it does look a little dark, but I hope the viewer still get the idea of what I'm talking about.
I disagree that the Balvanz system is a pro-product, it sells for hundreds less than the professional-grade products on the market.

Sorry to say, You should have brighten your video before upload. You are talking about a Pro-product in a low quality video. Re upload it please
