First time I rode my 09 nightster, I was scared as hellll. Fuel injected = sensitive throttle on this bike. But ya get use to it.

Am looking to customize a 1200L or possibly a 1200N. I'm not very knowledgeable on these things - but would I be able to swap the Nightster black lace wheels for a set of black highlighted cast 1200L wheels without a lot of hassle? Thanks

The "Big 3" all had to clone this. Makes me kind of anti-Big 3. At least other manufacturers outside of the Big 3 have some originality e.g. Ducati, Triumph, BMW et.

Bought my 2008 Nightster in denim olive green, new in 08. Walked into the dealership and it looked like a military vehicle. Fell in love and bought it my next visit. Just turned 2011 and still in love with it!

@TheGoater11 I tried the Dyna and Softail Models but in the end I couldn't be happier with the Nightster. It handles and accelerates perfectly. If your a taller rider however, I would suggest going for the fwd controls and a better seat (i.e. Mustang)

I ride a Lowrider Custom 87 for ten years now.before I rode a sportster for about 6 years.I am more in forthe big twins though.Last year I tested the 1200 but still it felt like a sportster ( wich is no insult!).

I got the black nightster for my 40th bday this year...OMG, it's such a mean bike! I take the wife out for a ride with me and the 1200cc motor has more than enuff horsepower and torque to move you in a hurry! I love my bike! I also bought the black vance and hines sideshots and the screaming eagle heavy breather!
