i love at 1:12 when she rubs her ear because its ringing. great shooting and it looks like you know what your doing, but safety is always needed in my opinion.
@CoreyRegalado Safety is definitely always a top priority to me. But safety in my books is not glasses and ear protection - but whatever others do is their concern. Safety to me is safety on, good chamber clearing practice and developing good habits. I have my ears tested about every 5 years and nothing has changed. Glasses however, I now wear as often as possible - when weather is causing them to fog, that to me is far more unsafe. Her not using earware all the time has eliminated her twitch.
@shiteetah i view your opinion, and your right. But anything can happen, even if you have developed good habits. Rounds and guns can malfuction. like i said in my opinon glasses and ear pertection are part of the safety which you stated.
@gunsmith93 Never really thought of the Mav88 as a skeet gun. I use it for skeet every now and then, but mostly for home defense practice. I personally like over-unders for skeet.
@TheWitnesserer Oh I havent had a wide enough experience with different shotguns to know what is really optimal ive just shot with my maverick 88 a couple different 870's and the browning a5
@gunsmith93 Well, not to make any over-generalizations, but most shotguns that remotely look like the Maverick 88 (short barrel, higher-than-3 shell capacity, etc.) are mostly designed for home defense and "tactical" shooting. The others, which are generally longer-barreled, are for hunting and skeet shooting.
But of course, those are generalizations. You can definitely use a Mav88 or a "home defense" Rem870 for hunting and a "hunting shotgun" for home defense. Just wasn't the design intent.
@Ross175 Yes it's an Auto 5. I find it an easy firearm to clean, really. I love it - super reliable. Never had a jam/blockage once. I had never heard of the b2000 till you mentioned it.
