Ok I got a question, I'd like to get on the Uberman. Can you give me some tips, have you used any specific info source, or just the basic stuff found with Google?
I just started polyphasic sleeping. I'm on day 2, and it kinda sucks right now because I'm so tired, but thanks for these videos. They're really inspiring, and they keep me awake. :)
if you are going to deprive yourself of sleep make sure you dont enter the stages of micro naps, they are dangerous. its your body telling you your immune system is shutting down and your going to die.
@JasonVoorhees10100 LOL no - Humans can survive a lot. I used to micro sleep a lot through the TRANSITION of becoming polyphasic. You cannot die from sleep dep from what I have heard- your body will sleep without your eyes closed if it has to, under any condition. You are misinformed.
"Sleep deprivation improves the mood of depressed patients, but the exact mechanism behind this effect is unclear. An enhancement of serotonergic neurotransmission has been suggested. Bjorvatn et al. 2002" ---- i find that with 4 hours of sleep i am soo happy and energized. 7-8 hours and I am depressed, grumpy, and feel tired.
@Naieblis I will agree there is a level of what I call "Sleep dep high", it's so intense, that if you are not accustomed to short sleeping patterns, you'll be giddy all day. I think it's also to blame for a lot of people thinking they are in love but thats a complicated theory. Anyways, thanks for the researched quote. Do you sleep 4 hours literally every day or just most of the time? Resetting will keep the high, but it wears off after a few days in my experience and is replaced with exhaustion
@Redflowers9 mostly due to the cheap ivory cover up I used under my eyes at the time to conceal from work, etc, that I was putting my body through this. When off, it wasn't that I looked amazingly tired, I just had a little more bag under the eye during adaptation. I'll tell you there is a video in my list where I talk slowly and blink slowly, that was some of the tiredest I ever was after adapting, but you still cant tell by looks alone.
@aeia Yeah, well, I really think it sucks when people of authority say that sleep is essential. The more I've been trying to sleep just 4 hours a night the more I comfortably have. I reckon it's just the transition from one sleep pattern to another. Even though I feel more uncomfortable with less sleep, I've been far more productive for some reason so it can't be that bad.
Hi! I am trying Polyphasic Sleep and recording all my results, and how I'm feeling. I am specifically doing the Dymaxion Sleep Schedule(2hours a day) which is every 6 hours, you sleep for 30minutes. I discuss tips that I have found out from experience that can make the experience way easier to accomplish! Sorry if you call this spam, I thought that if your watching Polyphasic Sleep videos on youtube, you might want to read about my experience as well. I feel great!
@aeia Well, I couldn't quite understand the artistic movement, but I'm glad you're fine, healthy and still with good sense of humour. Please keep posting videos, sweetie.
Going through these again for xtra tips on streamlining polysleep habit. U mention programing your brain 2 hit REM more quickly.
If u still come back to these comments these days could you elaborate on how this is done, maybe do a visblog to describe/expalin would be gr8ly appreciated.
Awesome little log. Just started - day2 - and to actually hear from others that've made it through initial adjust period is such a encouraging example @3am.

Wow, you are glowing and sparkling. It's really working out for you. ;)
I'm on my third try of polyphasic sleep, and this time I will do it as long as it takes. Uberman all the way!
I will surely watch the rest of your videos as I have lots of time to kill. Soon on my second day.

That's amazing. Most don't make it through the first week or even three days.
