  • Which other entertainer in the world would risk the rejection by NOT bowing to popular culture´s demands and being just purely original and still winning everybody´s hearts ? I ask you.

  • To put it plainly : DIVINE, PURE .

  • Thank you Gurrumul for being the instrument of great spirits, ancestors.

  • I wish I knew how to get my message to Gurrumul, I want to thank him, he made it possible to connect to people, culture that I was not born in but feel completely connected to. My soul and Youlgu can be same even if in different locations.

  • I am so happy I saw , heard this video, Gurrumull is the connection between earth and the whole universe I feel, know is there but unseen. I THANK YOU GURRUMUL, YOU GAVE ME WHAT I CANNOT DESCRIBE. I CONNECTED !!!!!! I sincerely hope you will be told what I wrote here.

  • I would like to acknowledge the tradional owners of the land on which we are meeting and pay my respects to their elders, past and present.

What a beautiful voice, Geoffrey you are an inspiration to us all

Let's close the gap and together, bring a future that is right for all our children

  • @TheMarkadamsiphone Hear, hear, I agree. My ancestors are communicating with me and I was not born in Arnhemland, still our souls can connect with souls of Arnhemland or other lands. What matters is common likes, interests, ancestors who meet in the great universe, kindred spirits.

  • so pure.......

  • cudowny utwór

  • this is the most beautiful song i've ever hered. because of our stupid western ways people and music like this are never hered instead we end up with shit like lady gaga and britney spears. THIS IS REAL MUSIC FROM THE HEART AND SOUL

  • Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu you are awesome , thankyou for being you , your songs are more beautiful to me than the beautiful lands around you that you may not be able to see through vision but you can certainly feel it and see it from within your soul, and thankyou again for sharing it with us all through your music <3

  • wow, a new fan here. he just fell out of the sky and i love it. ughhh, finally something i can listen to through all this mess of so called music out there today, thank you geoffrey, just wow. From canada and loving the auzzis including aboriginals. i am not so sure of the state they are in down there but all i see is something special :)

  • @RickOnDaUpSide Hey Rick. Pretty amazing hey. Like most, its the bad stuff that gets the press, and rightly so. Always a few dickheads but 99% of us ALL down here live, listen and love and just want to get along. And yeah, Gurrumul helps that. A gift to us all. His ethereal voice reminds me of Ray Lamontagne. Bet you are already a fan. Cheers

  • Truly beautiful. And deeply moving. And inspiring.

  • Beautiful ... thanks 'for uploading' and thanks my friend Terry 'for posting' ...

    Thumb High !!

    Greetings from The Netherlands :-)

  • As often happens, the universal appeal of truly

beautiful music performed from an open soul

forms the most compelling incentive to learn

more of the social issues at the heart of the

music being shared. This music brings us

as one while we empathize with injustice

brought upon some. Greetings from Florida,

grateful for sharing friends who pass this on!

  • this is so f*cking nice its really awesome

  • for my love Tine from Belgium

  • igorpdx,

Thanks for your translation, bless you.

  • I'm coming from Midnight Oil, Aussie...

  • I've got a ticket to see him play live 2 november in a cafe in Amsterdam, I am SO excited!!!

I'm waiting to purchase his CD there at the venue... I don't think the chances of getting autographed are very good though... must remember to bring some tissue with me. And that coming from someone who grew up on Judas Priest and Iron Maiden!

  • Mmmmmmh..

Merci de la mise en ligne, thank you for this video

  • just so beautiful. I hope this can make Aussies realise that the true aussies are not the whites. I relatives there that dont think of aboriginals as the true people of australia shame on them and shame on us

  • @tonyflors

We need people of the world to recognize us, and so hard to explain the pain in the hearts of my people. We are crying for our home, always feeling it.. Im white Aboriginal Australian and proud of my black history... and so happy to see people else where recognize this land as ours... when here we dont exist

  • @tonyflors i am a proud white Australian who respects this man and find your remark as divisive and unhelpful ,shame on you.

  • Wow it is magical!
