This is debated all around the net.. Why is WoW famous? IMO, it's was released ahead of it's time, and it's publicity kept it above the charts. And during it's early release, it's graphics during that time is considered astounding.. But today, it's totally obsolete. Imagine WAR being released along with WoW years ago... I'd say no because, disciplie's are using dual swords or sword & a, bottle-looking held in offhand. You can't compare wow classes with the classes in Warhammer online, i would say. You go melee/heal.

I think wow has a lot of attention from gamers because it can run on any pc and laptop these days and it is easy enough for anyone to pick up. Its a casual mmo with hardcore aspects to it.

Well yeah, those two are mirror classes on opposite sides of the battlefield. Yet there are class sets like the Squig Herder, Shadow Warrior, White Lion, and Marauder which are a pool of similar skill sets used in very different ways. No class is actually overpowered like some other games... things are balanced and every class has its strengths and weaknesses.

There's plenty of variety and there are many fun classes. Ever rolled a Shaman? Very fun healer/caster dps class.

I haven't played one yet, but I assume they're pretty versatile. Only reason I say this is I play a Black Guard, which is a tank, but with points in my dmg tree, and the right tactics, i can be a viable dps. Plus the thing with DoK, they have to dps to heal, so its hard to compare them to WoW classes, because if you're a healbot in wow that's all your doing.

They're like a melee version of the Warlock when played right. And yes, you'll be expected to throw some heals when grouped, most of which come from you smashing faces.

OK, well its kind of the oposite od what the guy just said, but its all depending on what tiy want to do, if you want to get your gear the PvE way, you stuck as a healer in the corner wavin you hands around like a little girl healing everybody. But if you want to get it in the RvR approach, you can do some serius damage to people, and you can save all thise good heals for yourself, and if your good at it, go behind em and use rend soul, heal yourself for tons and they take damage.

there is a couple of classes that are able to stand back and do nothing but heal, (zealots, archmages, runepriest and shammans). But if you choose, you can deal some damage. The disciple of khaine is much like a "dark pally". The counter part to the good guys warrior preast.

Well actually the DoKs are the destruction equivalent to the warrior priest (with nearly the same skills and talents at the beginning).

A fight between a warrior priest and a DoK could last a very long time due to the selfhealing, shielding and/or Dots on both sides.

I'm not sure how old this video is, but the DoK plays nothing like described in this video and certainly plays nothing like a Warlock. It's a melee healing class that focuses on dealing damage to keep heals up, as well as focusing more on AoE heals than other healers.
