All this was stuffed-up. KDKA is a bit too used to their previous editing and handling formats. That "NEWS" text should just be left out. @videonut33: KCNC switched to Newsforce?!? Really? You're thinking 2, not 9.

I am glad CBS didn't force them to change to CBS 2 News. Also KDKA TV Prime was orignal rather it was Prime 1 or Prime 2 it was like WPVI you heard that music and you knew what station it was. What is odd WFOR in Miami got to keep Moving Foward by 615 Music.

@news89 That's the positive point of the new o&o opens. Only one station that got a chance to keep their own theme is Channel 4 in MIA.

"Moving Forward" has that South Florida touch that lets you know that the station is tied in with the region.

Sad to see TV2 got rid of two things: "Prime" and the WBBM-esque logo.

They could've had the same style open like 'BBM has--with the blue box!!!!

@char615 KCNC is using KCAL's former theme (with their California Nine sig!) that KCAL-9 should STILL be using with the new CBS O&O GFX.

I don't know why, but it's 'CNC's theme now.

ah man this sucks. now they are just another "standardized" station. one of the nice things i liked about KDKA was they kept their own theme music and i think the old graphics were much better than this. i will admit that the panning shot of downtown from across the river is pretty nice.

@videonut33 i agree. KDKA-TV News is original and sounds better than just CBS 2. and i liked the old WBBM Style Box too.
