I don't think they made this back in the late 70's/early 80's. It was probably made in the 90's. If you listen, the audio is alot clearer than what you would usually hear in a 70's commercial. There were over a 100 episodes of GE 999, so I wouldn't think it would be very difficult to procure (and slightly edit) stock footage,
