This movie is more reality than reality television. It is a great movie, you dont have to like it but at least recognize its social significance. This stuff does not happen just anywhere. The camorra is a daily part of neapolitan life. They have infiltrated every aspect of society and government, something american mobs and sicilian mobs have never accomplished on such a grand scale. This is a perfect film. You have to be from Italy to truely appreciate it though. Reading the book first helps a lot too. Everything in this movie is true too.

At first I didn,t know what to think of this movie. Its very slow, even boring at times. But you have to watch a masterpiece a few times before you realize what it is. It,s slow, documentary kind of pace really covers up the underlying brutality of the film, until it hits you in the face. Reading the book first before watching is reccomandable
