his high notes at "you know nothing of javert" completely took my by surprise! this is the best confrontation EVER!!!! brian stokes mitchell is by far the best javert i've seen

Anyone know if this is going to be released out on DVD and CD any time soon? I missed it, I was in California at the time, Visiting family had no idea this was going on. I missed a great performance by Brian Stokes Mitchell. His voice is so perfect for this role and Don Quixote. You all should listen to his voice in that show its even more incredible.

Didn't they do this different on Broadway? It was much more like a fight, if I remember correctly. These two men were amazing! The entire show was awesome!

yes, on Broadway they had a break-away chair that JVJ raises at Javert then thinks better of it and just smashes it on the ground and runs out

Brian Stoke Mitchell is amazing, he's probably the best Javert I've seen. Stars and his Suicide are incredible. J. Mark McVey is wonderful as well.

J. Mark McVey was the best Jean Valjean i've seen. AMAZING!
