  • well technically all the long hair female ghost characters been derived from korean japanese and chinese folklore and films in which then afterwards you foreigners .. westerners found out recently bout the ring and the grudge which jus crapped out the moves that it was originated from in that case japan and fyi this film came out before the ring and the grudge american version

  • this is ultimately retarded. at least they could have shown boobs.

  • same name but two different plots. Completely different. The american one is like a thriller, this one's horror

  • Yeah but in case you didn't notice Red Eye takes place on a plane. Unlike Red which takes place on a train. And one is about a political assassination this one is about ghosts.Yeah its the remake allright.

  • lool

  • Ju Mong is there!!! hahahaha...

  • meh, saw this movie, wasn't that great

  • really what didn't you like about it? i thinking of watching this movie but i don't want to waste my if it sucks because i just watch 2 other korean horror films and was really disappointed by them.

  • I didn't watch the whole thing

  • then you can't really give an opinion on it can you?

  • can someone please explain to me whats happening?

  • girl smears drawing and all hell breaks loose

  • that looks really good and scary! I love to see this. To bad it not in english. I know there can be subtitles but thoes drive me crazy.

  • reminds me a bit too much of the grudge...which was a boring movie.

  • It´s a matter of taste. For those who are really into asian movies (including me) know that the storylines are the most of the time slow, I love asian movies though!!

  • the trailer resembles a bit ghost train movie? anyway i wanna watch it now!

  • grudge style..

  • i dont get whats happening

  • i think this is a lil to scary for me,

i have seen alot scarier but yet it is scary.

  • Wow! Song Il-gook is here. I'm definitely gonna watch this.

  • honestly this movie seem most scary that american version

  • i think the only similar thing about the us and korean movie is the name.

  • i think you are right on that i was thinking it was the some but it's not but yet whatever's jp or kn and if it's get the some name in the us they make it from the first one. XD

  • I agree with you, according to what I saw in the trailer this movie has the same title but the story is different.

  • At the beginnig I thought they were on a plane as the american movie but then I realized that they are only similar in the title RED EYE, but they have totally different stories.

  • seriously...this movie scared the crap outta me...

  • around 1:16 that little farting noise made me larf. :)

  • anyone know where i can watch this?

  • It doesn't seems scary. It is movies which are scaryer than this one , but i prefer American & Asian movies ( Japanese,Korean, chinese)

  • Can someone tell me whats going on??

  • these trailers r so short but they still scare me shitless

  • haha! yeah this was kind of creepy!

  • rofl me too xD..... o_o

  • Great now I don't want to take a train anywhere xD I reallt think I should rent all of these movies and have one big horror movie night with my club!

  • For those who don't know much about asian culture, the ghosts with long black hair and funeral clothes are a type of spirit(yūrei) which seem pretty popular in asian horror movies,I personally wish they didn't overuse them as much cuz now I'm a little more "immune" to them xD

(Go look it up on wikipedia if you still want more information =))

Oh and I watched this movie, I thought it was pretty scary, especially since I watched it with surround sound and the volume was on max lol XD

  • Thats Kwaidan, a yurei is something like The Grudge, but with a mixture of kwaidan.

  • there are koreans for goodness sake

  • Your an Idiot.

This has nothing to do with the ring.

  • i never understand why they just dont kill the thing

  • but how?

  • there always running away !!

why not stomp the ghost in the face ? haha

  • I would not even consider it... would you, truly?

  • I don't suggest stomping vicious spirits in the face, but don't be a pussy about it. It's like running from a wild animal; you automatically become their prey.

  • and what are you afraid of then? Inform us o you hwo can not be scared of japanese ghosts

  • if your an adult. your immature. less than a teen. sad?

  • Ya just funny. Only kids're scared of the same thing more than ten times xD

  • the main charachter girl looks like i seen her in the victim the thai movie

    ^^

  • Why people is bitchin' about their hairs: asians have black hair, most women utilize long hair, that's it.

Ringu did cover Sadako's face with hair... other movies do it impartially and most times you see their faces for shock factor, instead of being covered, 1:48 is the proof.

Kayako Saeki, Kuchisake-Onna, Natrenapa and pretty much all other horror icons in asian cinema have known faces. While Sadako is the one who keeps hiding it (and eventually, you only see her eye, before you die).

  • lol, come on, asain have long black hair, i have long black hair. i believe in spirit. my best friend mother got murder by thier father. she haunted us. she got long black hair. i still remember. and this is no joke. very sad.

  • mmm...always Looong black hair or water... -_- come on!

  • I have to watch this movie!!!

  • Whooe oee i wanne see this one

  • at 0:52 is that the grudge, can someone please tell me?

  • No Kayako here :O It's actually a wig.. spoiler spoiler.

  • it kind of reminded me about The Grudge.and the ring...but i want to see it tough

  • funny to see ppl makin comments about the way asians do movies, americans come with the same teen slasher movies and nobody here said a thing about it.

  • so true, so true

  • The Japanese and Koreans must probably feel the same way about America since America revolves around teenagers losing their minds and killing people. It just proves people are stupid.

  • @Felipe550710 yeah but most american movies are asian remakes.

  • haha I have something really stupid to say: i thought that the trailer was for red eye ( yes, red eye, with Cillian Murphy and Rachel McAdams) hahaha oops... (sorry for my bad english)

  • it's ok... it's a junk... :))

  • LOL! I thought it was the Asian version. I said, "Hmmm, they're doing it on a train instead of a plane!" So, is that girl supposed to be the Korean Jackson Rippner? The little girl's being held hostage...a little Lisa? She gets a crayon and shoves it into female Rippner's throat?!". Then it became obvious it's yet another Asian ghost horror movie.

  • Asians can only make one kind of horror movies, since they always contain crawling girls with long black hair. And always a stupid kid who's drawing stuff. They really need to get some new ideas down there!

  • Asia does their supernatural horrors like we do our teen slasher films...some are brilliant, and some are bad.

  • I suppose you are right about that :P

  • Don't forget someone has to come from the ceiling!!

  • why always the children...

  • it's scarier that way...

  • I really wanna see this movie becuse it's from the same director that made the ring virus.

  • the actor is also the actor in jumong right?

  • what is it with korean and japanese horrors and dodgy kids who tend to crawl on the floor a lot?

  • they think that's scary... schh let them belive that...

  • No need to apologize for low quality, it's fine.

  • can you please upload this movie, please.thanx

  • lol man...

  • holy cow this movie looks totally awwesome.

  • It is about a train that crashed years ago. They have brought that train back years later. The daughter of one of the dead is going to ride the train. There is even a visual joke about the 'long-haired' horror films in it. Not the best film-but entertaining.

  • As always, these types of movie dont use/have logic. First, no one would build a new train out of a train which hundreds of people have died. If they did, Ill write a letter to the Daegu City Hall>Transportation Department and ask them to rebuild the train which burnt at 2003 and put it back into the Subway line service. Wow, how fascinating. If I were head of Korail @ 1988 Id just say, scrap the train, and build a 'new' one.

  • Lol, the title reminds me of the coming up movie called 'Premonition', first I thought they copied the japanese movie, but they are actually different movies. Oh wells, this movie looks good.

  • oh...That's why this one is in a Train & The American one is a Plain huh? Damn, I didn't know that...My bad.

  • Yeah, and this one's supernatural, the American one's not ;) (I think) I mixed them up at first too, you know.

  • Wow I can already tell this movie is way better then the American remake. Fucking America!!!!

  • Uhm, the American "Red Eye" has no relation to this one. They just share the same title.

  • i can't seem to get away from all the crawling scenes in all the horror movies nowadays....hmmm...i guess it wouldnt be complete without it hihi^__^

  • ooohh he's that guy from innocent steps lol ^_^

  • I have seen this movie. Very Scary moments in the movie. I recommend it!

  • it looks awsome but what is it about

  • Supernatural stuff happening in a train? :D Well, there's not much of a story. There's this train, in which scary things start happening and people start dying.
