I watched a popping video made in the 80s when the Mighty Poppalots did the 'riding the bike', 'pressing your hands against a wall', 'opening a gate' moves etc and they called it miming? What is the difference between miming and animation given that mime is an element of body popping?

@DerivedEnergy I think miming is more with fixed points. You create the illusion there is something to wich you can pull your self or push your self from. Animation is more of creating the illusion of objects like a pipe or a box. And play around with it. similiair but animation technique is also of moving rigidly and jerky by tensing muscles and using techniques similar to strobing and the robot to make it appear as if the dancer has been animated frame by frame.

@WutangClan4LiF3 Not true. His style is pretty cool and I can say his ground moves and balance-related techniques are the best I've seen but he isn't as sharp when it comes to hits and waves. He is definitely world class but so are most of them here... When it comes down to it, it is merely your preference. Greenteck cant be classified as a better popper than any peeps in da vid but he can be classified as a popper on the same league as them... aka phenomenal poppers

And if you see the battle with KITE and madooka you will see how much kite's likes green when he is dancing. I never saw poppin john with teck that would be interesting

I know the bigger poppers also love greentecks style but that doesnt mean much coz many other poppers/ people also look up to these guys as much as they would Greenteck. But hey it would be interesting to see Green with Poppin John!! Two of my favorite poppers together? Oh hell yes!! :D
