Okay, so I'm pretty sure German roaches got into my apartment with an old cardboard box. Now they are everywhere and I want to cry. I noticed that they actually AVOID the boric acid I'm spreading everywhere. They go around it, even if I make bait balls with powdered sugar, etc. Why is that?
I thought i'm in deep trouble when i saw a roach on my wall.
Luckily it was a harmless wild roach which has a stunning resemblance to german roach, but unlike the latter it can fly. Also it doesn't have stripes on it's "neck".
I kept him as a pet for 2 weeks, but then i thought it was too cruel and let him go.
@ryan roaches are the only species that can survive radiation with no serious harm ik little bastards will survive the apocalypse but seriously i've had a bad experience with those little bastards
I went to get some food out of my microwave and cockroaches were in it. I figured microwaves could kill these little bastards, but boy was I wrong........... I put out some spray poison about two weeks ago that I got from ACE Hardware and just a little while ago I saw a whole colony of baby roaches in my sink........ It's disgusting! So I sprayed again and put some more boric acid down... hopefully that does the trick.
I found 1 in my kitchen, should i start freaking out yet? do you think there are 100's more? and I thought only people with a dirty house got them, my house is very clean how the hell did i get them?
Has anyone had any problem of bugs leaving trails of Boric acid behind them? I am thinking of using Boric acid in my kitchen but I am concerned that bugs will walk through it and leave a trail of BA behind them. I ask b/c I am confined to an electric wheelchair and I dont want to be spreading BA all over my apartment.
Man these things are horrible, my friends house has them BAAAAD. So im trying to help figure out a way to help kill them. But I think ive figured it out to all of these videos.
From hundred to zero, I'll tell you what I did. The @#$% reproduce by March and love hot weathers, keep that in mind. Clean EVERYTHING with clorox, even floors. Clean a lot. They hate garlic and baking soda kills them. Put tramps (they are cheap, a box for $2) and gel (about $10) twice a month put bombs... and my secret unbelief help, believed or not, the plug in things, you can find them in Wal-Mart and home depot, pack of 4 for $20. I combine everything at the same time,
... and immediately they star to disappear week after week, now day I can go to my kitchen in the middle of the night and see nothing. The plugging things prevent them to comeback from the neighbors, and the rest kill the ones inside my place. If you want you can contact me if you have questions, I don't mind to help, I know how hard is to get rib of those things.
umm im at my fathers shop and these muther ******s are all over the place how the heck am i supposed to kill them when theres so much packaged foods? and i find them crawling out of our computers we sell also
It's harder if you live in an apartment building, especially if there's no monthly pest control, because you can bomb, spray, put bait down, etc., but they will just run to the neighbors and sooner or later come back!
i live with my dad since i'm going to college, and he has roaches. he doesn't seem to realize that his gf doesn't really clean anything. they always leave food out, and never listen to me. i'm going to try to get rid of these things myself, because i can't stand them. i live in the basement, and i've actually seen a roach or two down here, which is really annoying me. i already don't eat in this house because of them, and now i feel like i can't live here comfortably either.
Amen and well said! I have a mutual feelin' with ya, Dwayne...Burn it and fuggit. It ain't worth all the money I've spent on baits, sprays, gels, and foggers. NOTHING works people..might as well put up the white flag, beg for mercy, and get the hell out.
I thought these ones were kinda funny. As soon as it's dark, there is swarm of em! If lights go on, they all scatter just scatter all over the place like cops just showed up and ruined the party. They like to play tricks on you,
so you recommend boraic acid? We have German AND Orential roaches,,,we've bombed, baited, sprayed...and the d#@! things are still around...they are in the cookbooks, they are in draws with NO food, but their poop is everywhere....HELP
@yankeegurl62 Boric acid works but also take all water away( cover the drains and make sure no water drops left in sink or tub) also while doing that take and put all food in ziplock back or plastic containers. in about 2 wks if not sooner you will see a difference in the population.. I livein Florida and the roaches are hard to get rid of. But I can say without a doubt this works. I hope this helps .
Yep..I've named mine and ran out of names in all nationalities. I've actually thought of investing in little tiny roach leashes and have each of them registered. *sadly shakes head* i just need to throw my hands in the air and admit bitter defeat. It's been a long battle. But, I've always been on the losin' side of course.
I HATE 'EM!! LOL...which is actually no laughing matter when u go to reach for a plate and one literally jumps at u like a banshee...just no hope for a win on a roach war.
well what worked for me was pretty much moving i think thats the best solution lol its hard to believe some people actualy find them cute and have no problem living with them ha not me
