Personally...It kind of bugs me how similar the show is to SCV in 1989...Its alright to use the music but to copy that much of the drill is bothersome...especially for a high school band to attempt....Dont get me wrong your good but it kinda puts down all that SCV accomplished.

@brassytenor18 the band mostly does dci shows if you couldnt tell... lol a lot of santa clara.. 2010 seasons of love was based off of scvc show.. but either way when this band isnt doing dci based shows, theyre still probably better than most other bands in the state..

@theyellowpot it's because we were doing their show note for note, chart for chart except for the fourth movement. This year and the following two years were my favorite three shows ever from that school, I'm just glad I got to perform in those three. The band sure isn't what it used to be :\. ....

This is great, but why is it so similar to SCV 1989? I noticed that many parts of the drill are the same or influenced by SCV.

@iconnightclub lol, no, cannot beat SCV '89 with some giant high school marching band that does Phantom of the Opera. Especially with all the balance issues.
