@davin2002 There is a set of printed WASD (with arrows printed on the front face) lavender keycaps and a red escape included in every Topre Realforce, but not in the Happy Hacking Keyboard Pro. There is also a red escape included in the box of the Realforce 23U numpad.
man this is so soothing :) got myself a similar setup, just a filco brown keybaord instead of the topre, I'm sure I'm gonna try it out some day aswell, as a matter of fact I still need something classy for my desk at the work office, so might be a good idea... :P
@Mushu0987 You must not understand any of these concepts but see only the mere presentation of a keyboard being taken out of its box. If you do your research on the technology maybe you'd have a better appreciation for things such as this.
I doubt it. Good typists don't even look at the keyboard, so why remove the lettering and losing customers over that, since the majority DO prefer lettering? It doesn't make any sense.
@BirnsS That's what I meant - the letters on the keys are barely visible, which is why a touch typist would prefer this keyboard as opposed to someone who is still used to looking down at the keys when typing.
No, that is simply NOT true. It has never been proven that an excellent typist prefers a keyboard without lettering, quite the opposite! I work in the IT for over 23 years, I've met many people who type 6-8 hours a day, 5-6 days in a a week and I've never met anyone, even when I suggested a keyboard without lettering, ask me to order one. You also have to understand one thing; teenagers might seldom share their PC while being locked up in their room, but...
....others at work or home often do and then it becomes an issue. And like I said, from a business point of view to ONLY sell keyboards without lettering or lettering that is really dark is in my opinion a commercial failure.
To me it seems that it's only a keyboard that is selling well under people who like to look cool, just like the same people who buy a keyboard without a numeric keypad, claiming that it saves space or that they type numbers just as fast without it....yeah, right...
And when you look at their keyboards it often shows, when you see their colored ESC or WASD or cursor keys that have no function whatsoever since they already never felt the need for any lettering.
@BirnsS They just look cooler to some people, there's no practical advantage to having blank keys on a keyboard. As for numpads, most people don't need them or will never use them.
Wow, the might Filco Desk mat! This is pretty cool :P.

Hi Ricky! Thanks for the info. I will maybe order them seperate too. I have a 105 uk version! Got it last week :)

Quick question here ;), i am also on the brink of ordering a topre for home use.
I see you got the blue WASD keys and also the red ES key.
Do they come standard, or did you order them separate?
Regards, Davin

@davin2002 Every product you see in the video was ordered separately.

Yea you're right...I have no research on the technology. I only use this keyboard often. I hate this keyboard and I hope RickyTomatoes gets rid it.

A pity that they don't make them in black with white lettering, otherwise I would have already bought one a long time ago.
BirnsS 1 year ago
@BirnsS I see your point. I think they geared the design towards touch typists.
