Well I wouldn't call wows fights simplistic, but they're more revolved around doing other things rather than knowing how to play your class. The thing is... Once you know the fight, it's cake. Eq2 is always challenging

WoW has very simplistic fights. Yes you do have to move, but that's really about it..Lich king's fight is very simple aswell, having downed him two weeks into his release.

not really, there are a lot of simple raids in WoW, but theres quite a few that are very complex. However, you are right that WoW does introduce movement to a whole new level, and it does slightly enhances the gameplay of the healer class.

I haven't played a whole lot of WoW, but EQ2 also has a LOT of movement-based encounters. This doesn't have one because it's just a simple instance boss. Almost all of the tier 8 raids involve some sort of movement.

if you don't play the game I don't think you can appreciate this video. WoW "introduced" alot of movement in instances/raids and fools people that movement makes a fight fun- however people enjoyed mmo's a loooong time before that. Standing still and spamming spells may not seem like fun at all but when position is crucial it sure can be anyway. This might be a normal instance boss, raids are alot more tricky. I play eq1 now where raids are so much more advanced than wow will ever be

Lol :P That's actually the Templar hat from Laboratory of Lord Vyemm. It has the paladin helm look, because that's what the original templar class hat looked like :)
