All I can see is that red AC looks pretty much similar to AC3 Phoenix (Unnamed Crest Middleweight AC)...., by the way I thought Evangel was expelled from the Ark at that time. How come he's with Mirage now?

@thunderBOOM23 Judging from what happened in Last Raven, this seems to be just another foreseeable event. In Last Raven, the corporations (Crest, Mirage, and Kisaragi; Navis is canonically dead at that time) have merged into The Alliance after the unnmaned suicide attacks that happened in the end of Nexus, then Jack O rebelled against the order and formed Vertex - a group purely composed of Ravens.

@IamVendetta95 Mirage took over the world, and they're prisoners now. They used to be enemies, in the intro (and other failure ending), but now there's only one faction which has subjugated everyone.

@Aethonic Thanks for the input. That makes much more sense, seeing as how Evangel had some Crest MTs with him. Kind of weird that Mirage let them march with their machines though.

see this is why i like this series. they never really elaborate on the story with multiple cutscenes, which leads you to wonder more about the story.

Possibly, Evangel defected to Crest right? and it is a Mirage convoy. Or it's just an escort mission.

the legs, the arms and the core are more like the ones on last raven but the arment and head part is from ac3

(Pssst... The last Armored Core game on the PS2 was actually Last Raven. Nine Breaker was released in '4 in Japan, while Last Raven was subsequently released in '05.

AC Pheonix appeared in AC1, ACPP, AC2, AC3, and ACN. Watch the intros on Youtube. Thats how I knew the red AC.

The red AC is the same as the Phoenix from the AC3 Intro, the difference is that it carries a different machine gun, a shield in place of the blade, a chain gun instead of a grenade launcher, and micro missiles instead of the Nymphe2. Otherwise, except for paint it's the same AC...not exactly the same anymore is it?

Evangel gets hired by Mirage after you fail one of the later missions. I'm not sure, but I think it's where you'll have to destroy the incomplete Leviathan constructed by Navis.

Oh I did that mission. I couldn't believe that Navi was the original creator of the Leviathan. I thought that it appeared only in Last Raven when Alliance is force to use it on you.

The mission was called Leviathen. It was only referred as a Massive Weapon.
