@telly8way There are two definitions to the word "freestyle." A lot of people think that it means only off the top of the head, but it also can be a rap that isn't about a particular subject. It's moreso a rap that has a bunch of good lines in it. Rapping off the top doesn't show true skill. Although it can be difficult, most people sound stupid doing it. That's why you see more people rapping with written freestyles in battles more often now.
