This was two years after the Dodgers left Brooklyn, and two-and-a-half years before the Grand Opening of Dodger Stadium.

What a travesty to play the World Series in that ridiculous football stadium with a left field "net" about as far away as a Little League fence.

this newsreel came out in theaters on 1959/10/05 so the date is correct
