  • great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Title's a bit inaccurate - not much Betty Boop, not ENOUGH Betty Boop! But I liked the video. Question: Is it a coincidence that about the same time (the 1930s), Paramount Studio had Max Fleischer (the animator here), the Marx Brothers, Mae West, and WC Fields - all rather out-of-the-mainstream, off-the-wall folks?

  • I really love the somewhat unexpected segue into the cartoon sequence. It makes me laugh every time. And that is quite a compliment from someone that is so "sad and lonely."

  • Not half as much as I hate

    smart mouthed punks,

    You're 14? big suprise there.

  • Heh, don't generalise all of us "smart mouthed punks" together. I'm fifteen, yet I'd much rather listen to good old soulful music like this than most of the glittered-up, vain, hollow rubbish we get nowadays.

Not to say that one can't find a few good gems now and then in the shit-heap the world dubs as the "music industry."

  • no buddy, classics is where people worked on music than making music videos . ha ha wtf has happaned in the world man.

  • oh wait no...he isn't...sorry my bad...

  • hh i get it, the cat is like a sexual predator...lol...

  • kelly smith is singing with him - his 1st wife

  • This is so awesome amazing! Some of those old cartoons were pretty freaky, though.

  • who is the woman, singing? It isn't Mae questal or helen kane is it?

  • Keely Smith maybe? I'm not sure.

  • Yes. No voice like hers. Any good musician can recognize it. :) (NJ~USA) 'NJ', where the best musicians' come from. ;) lol

  • It's Irene Bordoni, check out the 'reply to' video for the original.

  • The lady in the video, but the background voice is Keeley, unless I'm losing my hearing. ;)

  • Indeed, didn't read your post properly :)

  • @whenaman oh thank God! I thought that lady had a man voice! lol! now I see it...

  • Outstanding. I'll be smiling all day now. Thanks much.

  • TERRIFIC!! in the 50s Betty Boop cartoons and Big Bang Swing was an oasis in a desert of Perry Como, Diana Shore, Dancing Bears, pre Elvis. The video of the human Betty Boop was a grest find! .. many thanks for posting. Nice editing as well.

  • great!5 stars!!!:)

  • haha love it!

  • could well possibly be the best thing ive ever heard and seen in my life!

  • That is you ET!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHA!....classic swing!
