@elevul japanese has schools for voice training that's why, voice acting there is a very respectable job.

@elevul In continuation to what flames said, if these guys had some form of training from Hollywood or something, they probably would sound better. And usually it's natural for languages that you don't hear everyday to sound better than the one's you hear everyday. Same goes for the other countries.

But they didn't, so why bother at all? It only ruins the game when you put such a pathetic VA that is WORSE than the original...

People (kids) should stop complaining about gender lock. If they really do want to complain, go to the game developer and complain, Nexon America's only job is to host and translate the game. What is so wrong about playing another gender? It's only a game, don't have to get all mad about it (U MAD? TROLOLOLO). The game is gender lock because it is hard to script the code from scratch to make the equipments for another gender. So kids, shut your trap about gender lock and get on with it

True fact. Admit to someone on any game that lets you pick your gender that you are a boy playing as a girl. You'll most likely hear something along the lines of "Ewww! What are you, a homo?" People need to grow up.

@Shiyru Actually I don't think it's gay playing as a girl. People have their preferences and mine is that I live through my char so I prefer playing as a guy. Also I love how my char progress and gain new armors/weapons. No matter how epic the armors are a female wearing them is just isn't as cool. Playing as a female doesn't give me the same feelings.  It's all about preferences and it's wrong to judge, may be you should be the one who need to grow up? o.O

I am not talking about everyone, just the majority. I know this from playing Mabinogi for two years and constantly getting the same reaction once people find out that I am actually a guy. Most of the time, boys in the game like to flirt with girl characters because of how they look and automatically assume its a girl, but when the truth comes out, they are very quick to call you gay.

@Shiyru @Gregorian112 I used to pick a girl character only because I'm the exact opposite of @thien1234 . I don't want my dude to look like The Hulk and have the biggest armor around. I want him looking normal and sweet hair. Anyways girls usually just look better along these lines... because many games make ALL guy characters look like The Hulk. Meh... I would still pick a girl if the guy was super buff, but now a lot of the games don't do that.

People has been complaining why they are wasting their time making a blog and not getting serious down to work to make the Close Beta sooner, but this is can only be seen by someone who is pessimistic. The idea of them making a blog is for you guys to know that they are making process, unlike most games now, they usually slack off and the game never gets published.

Nexon is good at keeping players but I'm getting mixed feelings about this game now.

Judging by recent games by nexon, such as Dungeon Fighters Online and Vindictus, I'm guessing this game (Dragon Nest) will have the crappy peer-to-peer connection system? If it is so, I can already say whats the point of partying.
