@mackmclean , Sir you have not reviewed the previous comments where your question was answered nor did you get the point of the video. YOU can do this test yourself to verify the results. It is simple and cost effective. An ORP /pH meter runs about $100.
@frosty992001 LOL Frosty. Amway have many fine products, I think they are just misinformed on this one and rushed to production because they needed to enter the water market.
@KangenWaterOC I have had some experience with Amway, and in my personal opinion, based on what I have seen: If MLM ever needed an enema, Amway would be where they would stick the tube.
The purpose of this video is to show you how you can do your *own* test on various waters or liquids. Please purchase an ORP meter and do the test yourself to verify the results rather than blindly believing what a manufacture tells you.
I would love to see a live demonstration of this...for 1 there is no gaurantee the water in the perfect water bottle was not replaced by tap water especially since there was no evidence that the bottle uesed was indeed sealed.
@TNAAFFILIATES21 ... Hi TNA, thanks for the comment. The point of the video is to show you how you can do the test for yourself so you can see it first hand. The results are easily replicated and the ORP meter is inexpensive. KangenWaterOC (dot) com
@MoopDaddy ...Oxygen may or may not be oxidizing. Oxidation is caused by a stealing of electrons because of the positive charge. Thus if oxygen is stable (extra electrons), it is not oxidizing. Since Enagic Kangen Water has massive amounts of extra electrons with the active hydrogen, it is anti-oxidizing. See more at KangenWaterOC (dot com)
@MoopDaddy ..Oxidation is the loss of electrons or an increase in oxidation state by a molecule, atom, or ion.
In redox processes the reductant transfers electrons to the oxidant. Thus, in the reaction, the reductant or reducing agent loses electrons and is oxidized, and the oxidant or oxidizing agent gains electrons and is reduced. The pair of an oxidizing and reducing agent that are involved in a particular reaction is called a redox pair.
@MoopDaddy ...Oxidizers: Substances that have the ability to oxidize other substances are said to be oxidative or oxidizing and are known as oxidizing agents, oxidants, or oxidizers. Put another way, the oxidant removes electrons from another substance, and is thus itself reduced. And, because it "accepts" electrons, it is also called an electron acceptor.
I have an Enagic SD501, and I (of course) constantly see these other machines that are far cheaper. Isnt it true that these other companies using "mesh" actually can not on deteriorate pretty quickly, but also do not have near the surface coverage area, and these mesh machines have to be run slower than an Enagic machine? Just wanted to see what you (the video man :) thinks about this. Thank You!
Yes Lookn2find, mesh tech degrades quicker exposing the low grade spray on coating of titanium (not medical grade, thickly dipped, 20 plus year lifespan like Enagic) which has been linked to heavy metal (titanium) poisoning due to its inherent design flaws.
Thats what I thought! I appreciate it! Now, I need to figure out what Jupiter claims is FDA approved... I brought up their FDA info and it is only the "Filtration" that has FDA clearance, and does not say "Ionization". Jupiter is playing games to lie & sell their equipment! FDA# 3005053780. If you want to join me on this battle, just let me know. They claim the machine is FDA approved, but it is only something "inside", & again I believe it is only the water filter. Jupiter is "sneaky sneaky"...
Jupiter is just a private label of EmmoTech from Korea. EmmoTech makes machines for at least 22 of the cheap knock off compaines with different face plates.
Mesh tech slower running water is a workaround to compensate for the inferior machine failing to ionize water. They think that if they run it though the chamber three times (which is why it is slower) it may work better, but we still see the water failing to help people. Short cuts to reduce the purchase price will not produce a better machine, Enagic will never take a short cut they are committed to producing the best product medical device in Japan.
@lookn2find Hello again, we just learned that the mesh plate has the majority of the cheap spray on commercial platinum wear off in three months, best case scenario it lasts six months. This info came from the manufactuer of the mesh plates. Virtually all the companies the produce machines with mesh plates buy them from the same company -Emco.
These two waters are different animals. Perfect Water seems to be an attempt to imbue water with more oxygen. Kangen water is ANTIOXIDANT water. Kangen water removes oxidation from cells, allowing more oxygen to enter. My opinion is that you first need to remove cellular oxidation before you can effectively introduce nutrients to the cells. I'm also concerned about the minerals added to Perfect water, which are likely inorganic, therfore not absorbable and problematic.
@KangenWaterOC I would be very curious about the supposed science behind these claims. These seem to be the same claims made by Perfect Water, which I will agree with you is a scam and has been proven so in peer reviewed journals. What makes your water any different?
@DJOmega80 Hello DJ, great question. If you would please somehow provide me with a postal mailing address I can supply you with various forms of verifiable evidence. You may safely contact me via my website KangenWaterOC (dotcom).
@DJOmega80 As I said DJ, there are over 2,000 clinical studies, 6,500 medical doctors using and prescribing Enagic water (and only Enagic) in over 200 hospitals. How on earth could you possibly say it is not real? The evidence is overwhelming, all you would have to do is review the data, which it seems you are unwilling to do.
@KangenWaterOC I'm not saying that the Kangen machine isn't real, but the claims made by the product do not hold any merit in the chemistry or human physiology fields. I have searched for peer reviewed articles looking for the this "evidence" and have only found articles not supporting these claims. There may be doctors and hospitals using it, but there are a lot of products that are used that have no value. For example, the abdominal stimulator belts will not give you abs of steel.
@DJOmega80 Well DJ, since you do not care to review any real evidence, but only care to state you lack of belief then I think we must agree to disagree. I appreciate your being civil which is a rarety these days. Be well.
@KangenWaterOC I do care to review the real evidence and have done so for years from scientific journals reviewed by experts in the field on this topic. I also appreciate you taking the time to respond to this discussion. My concern is for the public that may not see past the marketing/sales. Take care.
@DJOmega80 You are looking in the wrong places for evidence, since you are intellegent I think you are doing so intentionally. Big industry controls the data in those types of venues. They will never acknowledge that a product will work that may decrease thier revenues, rather they will attack it to protect their profits. Finding the truth is so very easy, one must only try the product under the proper recomendations (for free) and or review the real evidence.
@KangenWaterOC We are sort of getting off the topic by talking about how research is gathered and valued. Let's look at each claim separately. First, can you explain how and why alkaline water affects/benefits the human body? Thanks.
@DJOmega80 DJ, for the third time, give me a postal address and I will supply you with all the evidence a rational person would need. We cannot conduct such a conversation in a blog that limits our character count, cannot attach links or PDF's.
You know, you guys should really stop. Firstly, the benefits of taking perfect water is not only what you have tested. Secondly, what Perfect Water is competing on is its proprietary MBO (Molecularly Bound Oxygen) formula. I personally met and did a training session with the owners of Perfect Water. They showed us the results of tests done in Europe on athletes and how Perfect Water is being used to treat respitory diseases. So please get the facts and stop comparing apples and oranges.
When peoples health are at stake we want them to see and know the truth about what they are drinking. If Perfect Water has some benefits, they should be easily demonstratable to anyone drinking it. It should not be some secret thing you can only see in a lab...
Sir. I have never seen a claim by Perfect Water about the fact that it has anti-oxidants. Secondly, having a high ORP is "bad" for you? Really? Secondly, there are MANY alkaline waters out there that has a higher PH than Perfect Water. Let me repeat, the competitive advantage of Perfect Water is the MBO. There is NO test to measure that and it is a secret process. I have personally seen it do things that cannot be advertised. E.g. People who could not walk do so after a few sips! MBO!
The label of Perfect Water claims to have ionized water which to the casual observer inherently means the presence of negative ORP = antioxidants. This has been conclusively disproven.
MBO appears to have come into existence after the various other benefits were questioned (in my opinion) i.e. presence of negative ORP or micro clustering. Here is where I have a challenge with MBO: It is secret and cannot be tested or duplicated by the causal drinker, thus there is no reliable evidence to support it. Oh and lets not go into flaws of the deceptive, easily manipulated and non scientific tip test.
My goodness. We're talking about water people. Mind you I don't drink my tap water, but the local water store gets me purified, good tasting water for 30 cents per gallon. I use that to fill up each family member's bottles.
All waters are not the saame my friend, one would not drink water from a toilet bowl correct? In the same respect some waters are far more healthy than others.
Its too bad this video doesn't prove anything. You have to do it from stock. Try using a bottle that has not been previously opened. Who's to say it hasn't been tampered with? And a Question. Being so Alkaline.. is that even healthy? it seems a bit extreme.
Just to elaborate why I think its not a good test: The plastic on the lid of any bottle never comes off that easy. you always fight with those little plastic things that hold onto the lid.
Hello Tarochan, I would invite you to do your own test. The drops cost about $5 and the ORP tester $75. As for pH ballancing being good for you - the evidence is overwhelming, please research it and make well informed decisions. I can mail you a DVD on the topic or you can Google it. Over 2000 clinical studes have been done on Kangen Water (tm).
How do we know that he did not empty the perfect water bottle out and put in regular tap water

Isn't "oxygen rich" the opposite of "ANTI-oxidant"? Maybe I'm oversimplifying here. What you are saying is that Kangen water is NOT oxygen rich.
