  • Very accurate technically, but with pitch this group suffered. A450 much? Also with all of the moving, I thought this was interpretive dance.

  • @P0laris2212 The pitch is good....maybe it's the timbres that are collectively making the pitch seem like it's higher than A440...It's important in chamber music to move with the other members of your group since you don't have a conductor ...it's part of expressing yourself ..some people do it more than others.

  • this is very good.i mean really nice .yo all keep up the good work.i love all the instroments.but i love the way the clarinet sounds on here.

  • very well played

  • really good playing, guys! I thought the flutist and oboist were particularly strong.

  • ...which is the reason you're here watching this video and have Bach Cello Suites on your own page?? I don't understand.

  • Are you fucking serious? It is one of the most difficult skills to learn out of anything in the world. Sure, it isn't a bunch of dumb shits beating the crap out of each other and throwing a ball around a court, but really? A comment like that is just fucking low, and it only proves your ignorance.

  • Awesome performance for a freshman group! Bravo!!!

  • Bassoon and Oboe rock the house here!

  • I definitely hear an increase in individual and ensemble maturity in your Francaix at the end of the year when compared to this. Not that this isn't a great performance, but just wanted to comment that you've all defintely grown. Will you continue chamber music together in the coming year?

  • yes we will be staying together!! we actually are playing for the US Army Band Quintet on the 9th of September!! we are stoked!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would definatly like to play this... what is the title so i can look into ordering the music?

  • Kliene Kammermusik by Paul Hindemith

  • Sweet. Gotta love Hindemith. Definitely will have to track this one down to play! Good job guys.

  • i tried playing this before (on bassoon) difficult, but i liked it

  • Get a LIFE

  • Awesome for being freshmen you guys! Keep it up :)

  • Sounds awesome!

  • This is fantastic :D

  • I love the oboe playing!

  • sounds awesome! love the Eastman ensembles/chamber music! try to make it to recitals and concerts when I can... do you happen to know a doctoral student Liisa Ambrogokar-Grigorov? she is one of the flute profs. here at Naz... j/w

  • Which one are you? I'm guessing based upon your subscriptions and favorites that you're the flutist?

  • YUP!

  • Rock on. Well you all sound great!

  • Yeah...the first movement of that piece is really interesting. When you're talking about Hindemith, you have to understand his slightly quirky (spelling?) ideas about post-war music. Try shortening up some of those articulations and sound a little more...deranged lol. Great sound :-)

  • Wow u guys really rock! Hey Emily! this Zac from Birch Creek. its so awesome to hear you again. I hope your having an awesome time Eastman!Love the video.
