Have to join a club for sports shooting if i wanted to get a pistol, would have to get a hunting licence for either shotgun or rifle, and getting a 50 cal handgun or an assault rifle is almost impossible :( Would be so much fun @ rifle range with all this stuff!

Just curious, the first time she shot the eagle she seemed to have a bit of trouble. Which is of course understandable with your first time shooting it. But then afterwards she seemed to be able to handle the gun very well. Amazingly so for just screwing with it for one day. Did you switch calibers to help her get used to the gun at a slower pace or is she just a fast learner?

Wow, the girl has guts and is a pretty good shot to boot. I personally wouldn't have even TRIED the Desert Eagle - the recoil on my Garand was enough to make me flinch for the first couple clips >.< She done good, and nice collection.

I have. My dad has a 7.62 with artilery sights. It took me about 25 rounds but I did get a beer bottle with it. I made my nephu shoot my 243 at 500 yards. it has a 8-32 magnificatin on it and a bipod. anyone shood be able to hit a coke can with it at about 300 yards pron no problem.

Yes, a bipod and a big scope. It wouldnt be hard. Sorry but i dont have access to that stuff so im not making a first time shooter shoot that far, the range doesnt even go that far. I have a pet peeve hearing people comment on videos saying "oh i can hit this at so and so yards" guess what shes a FIRST TIME SHOOTER and i dont care how far you all can shoot quit trying to belittle it.

What is she shooting?? sounds like a 22. Sorry to say this but how far is that to the targets? it cant be more than 15 yards. then agin I grew up shooting at over 200 yards with my dads 243 and a big scope. shes still a good shot. keep it up.

its 25 yards. The first gun is a .22 and yes shes a good shot. Why would i make her shoot that far on her first trip? I don't have a scope, shoot something that far without it and maybe ill be impressed.

It has been awhile since ive fired a 12 gauge, but im pretty sure theres a significant difference in the amount of recoil then a .308.. Well at least what im shooting ( Ruger m-77)

Its not really a gun for practicallity. Just a fun range toy for blowing stuff up, a red dot would be great on one, go for it. You got to be careful about which one you buy though, the .50AE is known for killing the dot on some of them.
