@gemma: Fairly certain that this song uses the same tuning as "Because I Told You So" which, according to this page from Jonatha's website (/music/odds-and-ends/) , uses an open E-flat tuning: (Low to Hi) Eflat G Bflat F Bflat Eflat . And as you can see from this vid and one other on YT, she uses a capo at the fifth fret. Oh, and thanks for prompting me to figure this out... been meaning to for some time! Now to try break down the picking pattern...
This woman is incredible! I saw her perform with her very talented band last night at The Festival in Sandpoint; it was FANTASTIC! If ever you get the chance to see her, don't pass it up!
Heard an interview where she said she wrote this for Nick Lachey, with whom she collaborated (and JC Chasez)in songwriting for the album. He passed, so she kept it for herself.
so underrated, so good

Just LOVE this tune. Would love to see her perform at the Zeiterion in New Bedford, MA or better yet, Nectar's on Martha's Vineyard.

She is, quite simply, one of the best singer-songwriters America has ever produced.
