I want to ask u only one thing : The pod (all the type of desktop or floor) have the same sound when u are recording video (with the direct recording method) from when ur simply playing without recording(i have to ask u cuz i don't know before i don't buy it^^)

@IsraelSilvaMonje do your proper research, pod x3 live and guitar port at different things, one is a pedal board for live application with USB connectivity so in that sense it is comparable to the guitar port, which is exclusively a computer interface, with no live application. Pod x3 live offers more amps, distortions and effects (line 6 should pay me for all the times i have answered this question)

Thanks, I record the keys using the same interface I use for the guitar. I simply by pass all amps and effects and record directly the sound of the keyboard. No midi recording here

pod x3 live is connected via usb to the computer, my DAW (Cubase) recognizes it as the sound card through the ASIO driver. It will then record anything i plug into the pod (guitars, bass, keys, vocals)

the beutiful clean tone you hear is the the I am using on the other clean parts, what makes it special is the the pickup selected, I'm using both hambuckers. This guitar (Music Man John Petrucci) has his custom wiring, i love using it on clean sections

do you mean that the pick gets caught between strings? try grabbing the pick more firmly, maybe cover more the pick with your fingers just leaving enough space. You'll get it, just keep practicing,
