Him and Ken Grossman of Sierra Nevada are great people and businessman. Both make good flavorful beers that also are easier for people who drink BMC beers to warm up to. They have entry level products (boston lager, Sierra nevada Pale ale) and more refined products.

Jim Koch seems to be a down to earth businessman who loves the product he produces. I'm pretty sure that's the secret to success.

I may like some beers better than Sam Adams, but the man produces some good stuff. However, he's earned every dime I give him.

You should've asked him why Sam Adams doesn't put out an IPA. I love IPAs!

They actually have an IPA that they are putting up against a Pilsner Style Beer this year in 2009's Beer Lover Choice Award. The winner will be released in early 2010. So its either going to be the IPA or The Pilsner that was brewed for his daughters wedding!
