No. This is a real Silver DS! You might not have heard of it because it was only released in Europe. LOL

Yes, this silver DS Lite is real. It was released a while ago along with Metallic Rose. However, I don't think the clicking noise you hear when you open your DS is a flaw. I actually like to hear the click so I'd know it's in place when I open it. And about the smudges. All DS Lites will get smudges. It just depends on the colour whether they are more or less likely visible.
