  • Why......

  • was she on dope that day?

  • Fruit is NOT supposed to be savory...

  • What the fuck did I just watch?

  • "is she crazy ?"

  • Oh my god...no words. I have no words. Oh, I have some words. Um...no one wants to chomp into big clumps of basil, you stupid woman! I second a previous comment: who did she blow to get onto Food Network?

  • Who's desk did she crawl under to get on TV?

  • Who the hell puts oil on fruit?!?!?!??

  • Olive oil on my fruit ... that already evokes a NO from me.

  • Comment removed

  • Heaven forbid I would have to clean up after all this hard work

  • I am better off just drinking vinegar and chilli powder straight up.... And what a waste of perfectly good melons!

  • Where's the cream cheese and vodka?

  • Oh god, I thought she was getting the buttermilk and cheese for the salad. It sounded like something she would do.

  • "it's all gonna start with my BALSAMIC CHILI MELON SALAD"

NONE OF THOSE FOUR WORDS BELONG TOGETHER

  • it bothers me that she doesn't recycle the plastic cup after pouring the fruit into the bowl....she makes it quite obvious that she's simply throwing it out

  • balsamic and strawberries, ok. Proscuitto and rockmelon, yup but balsamic and melons i think not!!! Especially with spice what are you thinking.

  • Hmmm so spicy fruit? Idk why anyone would add any type of dressing to fruit especially vinegar and spices.

  • Crikey, imagine the flavour of that... The strong bitterness of the vinegar cutting through the mellowness of the melon.... Yuck.

  • Oh, that definatley looked like two tablespoons of olive oil. So she uses premade ingredients and she doesn't know how to measure them...

  • Eww that in fruit -_____-

  • OMG did she just say garlic??? Garlic and melons?? I want to die... ='(

  • @smithapradhan2003 thank god no

  • Cooking so boreing I don't care if I spelled it worng ok ok so think something else ok yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Reading the top two comments right now made me laugh hysterically, out loud, by myself, in my room at 4:40 am.

  • WTF? Chili and watermelon?

  • why yes aunt sandy, chili powder does give you heat

  • the comments on sandra's videos are equally, if not more amusing...

  • do these recipes ever get tested???

  • Spicy watermelon/other melons?

    No thanks.

  • Thats like for a salad

  • Leaving all the other horrors aside: for God's sake, you're not supposed to put a knife to basil! Doesn't this woman know anything?

  • I think I saw this recipe when I open up my dictionary and look up the word YUCK!

  • Where does she come up with these messed up recipes??? She must be drunk when she writes them down... mixing a spicy seasoning with fruit plus balsamic vinegar. doesn't sound good at all... Yuck!

  • Sandra, I think you missed the point of fruit salad.

  • You know whats sad. Everything in that kitchen is fake, the food is fake ( because the food wasn't made by sandra) and even the windows are fake. Man...

  • What did those poor melons ever to do her? "Unexpected heat" indeed.

  • WHO PUTS CHILLI, PEPPER AND VINEGAR TO MELON?!?! THATS JUST CRAZY!!! btw, the pepper on the melons look disgusting alright.

  • Surprising bit of heat - yeah, so when her guests grab the melon thinking they're safe from the rest of her horrible "cooking," Aunt Sany can laugh maniacally over her martini as they choke on her spicy, vinegar-laced slop.

  • Man, the only thing I like to add to melons are honey and balsamic vinegar. I swear this woman is just guessing.

  • its actually really good except for the chili seasoning. just melon tossed with salt and pepper and a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar, thats good eatin

  • Olive oil, Vinaigrette, and Chili Seasoning all over mixed melons. Good God this woman is disgusting.

  • goddammit she doesn't even know how to estimate 2 tsp.she done like half a tsp of balsamic vinager.even i can estimate 2 tsp without a tsp .she can't! and she didn't even do 2 tablespoons of oil..it was more like 1and a 1/2 tsp of it! grr

  • i love melon and this killed me :( such a waste of time and melon!! grrrrr.....

  • I seriously can't deal with balsamic vinegar, paprika and melons. Why don't you just save me the time, Sandra, and puke in my mouth.

  • Damn it, was hoping she would cut her finger with the knife

  • caution*: not edibledanger

  • How, exactly, does one "get melon all over the kitchen?"

  • @arb5489 it's easily done! ......if you're constantly drunk like sandra is

  • @decafeine That thought never crossed my mind. Silly me; please pardon my ignorance.

  • @arb5489 are you kidding me??? her melons are all over the floor...let alone the kitchen. saggy titty'd bitch

  • @arb5489 melon juice all over the kitchen?

  • How in the hell does she come up with melon mixed with Balsamic??? Thats disgusting.. I'll stick to some yogurt mixed with honey... maybe the booze is kicking in lol

  • Slick move sprinkling chili seasoning onto wet melon w oil on it instead of making the dressing FIRST then tossing the melon in it like a real cook would do...god help the fucker who bites the 1 piece w all that chili seas. on it....shes such a trashy hack....no skills at all in the kitchen and her stories are painful, only watch her show for the comedy value and gross out factor..oh and tablescapes of course, real depth in her talent is dressing up a table w an entire craft store.

  • really?? that sounds....( thinking) wow!!! i think un-edible

  • hahaha look at that wilted basil, this looks terrible

  • What happened to just enjoying the melon salad?

She seems to destroy anything edible...and nutritious.
