Okay, i went to Britneys Circus tour in June, and i knew she was lip-syching befor i even bought my tickets, i don't just go to hear her music i go to see Britney :) She did sing to dsongs live, which where just as good :) It was an Amzing night and if im lucky enough to get ikets to her next tour i will most certainly be going again! She was amazing and i'd recommend everyone to go :) I don't know what went wrong Down Under, maybe she just had an off night, who knows? Love you Britney :) xXx

I'm not a big concert person, but I agree it should be clear when people buy the ticket that it's a performance and not a concert. Here in the states we have a brand of donuts called Krispy Kreme. I was told that legally they have to use the K and mispell it because there's no actual cream in the donuts. So maybe Britney Spears should just have "koncerts" from now on.

But I can actually understand someone paying just to see the person live. The reason I don't like concerts is because I can't hear the music as well at concerts as I can on the CD. A lot of artists I listen to don't sound as good live. If I went to a concert, it would be just to see the person. The only exception has been the musicals I've been to and a singer named Noe Venable whose voice gave me chills in person. Her CDs are good but hearing her in person was a whole other experience.

Could you imagine Bruce Dickenson miming Hallowed Be Thy Name? No, me either lol. It's a massive rip off. Some actually paid up to $1500 for their ticket in Perth. She never appeared on the big screens so to all those in the back didn't get a good view of her. I go to live shows to hear the raw talent. Judas Priest were huge in January and Iron Maiden were equally as huge last year. Most of these guys are pushing 50. Tipton is 60. She has no excuse. Her fans deserve better.

Dude, Maiden are by far the best band to see live in my opinion, seen them the last 3 times they were in Dublin. Bruce has an amazing stage presence and age doesn't seem to be slowing him down, he'd be all over the stage, running, jumping and still singing perfectly from the first song to the last.

Surely the reason you like her is for her music. The whole point of a concert is to give people the chance to actually hear the singer "sing" live. It is possible to put on great shows without lipsyncing. "Singers" should work the dancing and show around the singing not the other way round.

In eleborate dance parts, all performers lip sync a part of the act. This is not new. The Perth concert goers just never knew it before. Besides, most acts sound like crap live, outside the studio. Poeple go to concerts to see the performers live and experience the show.. much different than listening to the CD at home.

It is still highly possible to create a great show without having to resort to lipsyncing. I just feel that if you pursue a career as a singer that it is a bit of a cop out to then not bother singing for your fans.

I've seen singers put tons of energy into their performance and never had to resort to lipsyncing. Hearing songs on a CD is great but to hear them sung live is a unique experience that any act/artist who lipsyncs I feel is taking something very important away from the show and it's expereince

I guess the producers wanted Britney to concentrate more on her dancing.

But still, it is downright unfair for the fans who paid good money for a live performance.

The disclaimer on the ticket is an okay suggestion, but I don't think anyone would bother purchasing given that knowledge.

In all fairness to Britney Spears, I think she's not the only artist out there who lip-syncs in her concerts.

There are a lot more famous musical artists who did and do this (I'm not mentioning any names).

But yeah, I have no particular hatred towards Britney.
