  • i love this version. this is a number one hit. definitely should've been a priority instead of all the cover songs

  • This song is not a Holland-Dozier-Holland song. It's a Holland-Dozier-Gorman song.

  • @DFGorman :You may be right, but the credits on the record reads HDH.

  • @24exile: Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately back in those days, they dropped the ball a lot dealing with the correct credits. It's funny, before I sent out this message I had to look for my dad's writers contract agreement, just to make sure. LOL! Nevertheless, keep posting great music.

  • I like the Four Tops but this rendition doesn't touch Mary Wells'. Wells' was indeed a B-side but should have been an A. As a B it got a lot of airplay and was very popular.

  • this is class never heard before

    thanks for sharing

  • I love it when they took older Motown songs from the early days and remade them later when the Motown Sound was in full swing and transformed the songs into something new and exciting

  • I have this song, and I listen it it all the time.....I have to say I love this version just as much as Mary's......who am I kidding.....I pick this version over Mary's.

    T.L. Harris

  • Most fans don't and don't know it even exists. But this was recorded as they were reaching their peak and it's a classic Motown arrangement. It's a mystery how it has remained buried and unknown for so long.

  • Great tune, aint got this in my collection, thanks for the post!
