  • @Alifyfe1 Nice one but that is a pun.

  • @Alifyfe1 Look at the label a little closer, it's Electric Landlady Studio in Islington, over in England. That was also the title of a Kirsty MacColl album.

  • @Alifyfe1 dont be silly it was recorded in london not america

  • remember this album when I shared a flat with a drug dealer who carried a gun in the 70's in glasgow. This album was played constantly. Strange times.

  • reminds me kind of iggy pop new values real nice

  • swedish "progressive rock" group Fiendens musik (means The music of the enemy) did this in the 70's:

    "Snutbil" means police car

    search för SNUTBIL

  • search for snutbil on youtube

  • remember this from stiffs live. Cool song thanks for the post.

  • this sounds so dated and wanna be classic vintage.. its novelty blahhhh

  • Loved it !

  • Larry Wallis : 52 , U2 : 1

  • Is this Larry Wallis who played with Lemmy Kilmister and Lucas Fox for on the first Motorhead album,ON PAROLE from 1976?

  • @ray180597

    'Tis. The very man.

  • @ray180597 YES !!

  • ..thanks for posting this..Larry is often the forgotten one from the early days at Stiff...produced a lot of good music while there....

  • @wjolly Absolutely

  • Playing this one at least twice this morning. Thanks for posting!

  • If it ain't stiff it ain't worth a fuck! Too true man

  • I always remember him as Motorhead's origianal guitarist. Never ever heard any of his solo stuff before (Heard some Pink Fairy's stuff). Not a bad song. It sounds a cross between Alice Cooper and T Rex.

  • Yep, bought this when I was 14 and still love it now! Great song and great 'British' singing LOL - thanks for posting mate!

  • @MrChubbleyWarner - Cheers. Thought it would already be up. It wasn't so I loaded the track

  • I had a 7 minute version of this song...amazin..where is it now?

  • @oldspunky yeah and it was way more rough than this!

  • Electric Landlady Studios? Surely an alias for Pathway.

  • What a song for a Brit!

Larry love you. Lyrics are so true here in Florida

    Cheers Rev Tony 8

  • Love you for putting this up. As a young boy in the surbubs of Stockholm, Sweden we used to play this song as a starter för the friday riots.

  • Recorded at

    Electric Landlady Studios!

    Ha! Ha!

  • larry wallis will be special guest guitarists with me and my band fri 9th oct at the white hart pub. new cross gate london se14. . its a blues gig with a few from the man himself. all welcome..see you there...

  • I'am also locking for the lyrics anybody has?

  • Iha höystö!

  • Heitä homo voltti!

  • Roky616...

On Parole was the B side.

More of a double A, in my opinion.

    Had it from it's release...

If it's vinyl- It's in a loft, somewhere.

  • psychedelic rowdies ?

  • I just can't find the lyrics for this song. Anybody?

  • "Hold it,freeze!"Is it Ian?

  • Good stuff!!! 'Larry Wallis' always seemed a bit underrated, at least in the U.S.

A little too far out I guess maybe like 'T Rex' ect.

    Thanks for the share!

  • Oh this was good!! And now...it sounds perfect!!

  • sooo goooood!

  • fantastic. Love this song and have struggled to find it anywhere! Thanks

  • If you can find Stiffs Live LP, It's on that live.

  • There's 1 copy for sale on discogs...

  • The track was available on the free cover disc of a recent Mojo magazine (Mott was on the CD cover). A few years ago, there was also a free Mojo cover disc with a new version of the song recorded by Wallis. It's probably also on the Stiff Records box set, but I haven't checked that.

  • You're correct. It is available within the Stiff Records Box Set..

  • There's 1 copy for sale on discogs...

  • Such a classic track. I wonder what song was on the b-side...

  • "On Parole" w/Eddie & The Hotrods
