I agree. Though I don't know if that's a product of the fact that he seems to come under a lot of harsh criticism. Or maybe he comes under harsh criticism because he's pompous.

@DartmouthAlum96 Why? Because he makes his films for mostly his entertainment and everyone else's but not strictly yours? That mentality itself is highly selfish. You're probably one of those folks who sit around and just look at the screen, rather than actually absorbing cinema and its artistic benefits. Tarantino is an artist, and artists make art to express themselves--not to please a generic fool like you. I'll bet you're the type who just thinks art is art and that's all there is to it.
