Lemme get this straight. Rin is supposed to be a kasha, a cat youkai that carries the bodies of the dead to the afterlife, right? Rin's two tails and her claim to control zombies point to her being a nekomata, a cat youkai that has two tails and can resurrect the dead. Chen, another Touhou character, is listed as being a nekomata and the only thing defining her as such is her two tails, a trait Rin also possesses. Huh?
