  • You are so cute...throwing you a kiss......muawhzzss.

  • But will it blend? o_O

  • you need to stop saying UMMM

  • @rentwest 2 choices, either i say umm a lot, or every other word is a swear. its hard enough for me to not swear on camera, i cant do both..

  • @squiggyflop I think we may enjoy swear words, I think it would be pretty DARN funny, um ;)

  • you have a time surviving kind of old fashion beauty, that is wonderful to see, almost unique!

Great video by the way, i am so trying this xx

  • Your hair is gorgeous, thanks for sharing.

  • can you eat if on it's own?

  • @utubedude3196 thats like asking if its possible to eat peanut butter out of the tub.. the answer is yes.. assuming you really like coconut by itself.. just like how you could sit there with a jar of PB and nom it with a spoon.

  • pretty hair. I am going to try this when I get my vitamix next week. Great idea!

  • Microwave?! Horrible idea! Heat it in the normal oven.

  • @myboringlife i have never had any trouble with the microwave. problem with the oven, is that it heats up the house, wastes expensive gas, takes 45 minutes to heat up to the temperature i need and i have to bend down and hurt my back to put things into and take things out of the oven. im sticking with the microwave. less expensive, less time, less physical pain. but whatever floats your boat, try the oven, it could work i think. maybe even the stove boiling it in a small pot while stirring

  • @squiggyflop The microwave destroys food on a molecular level. It's not healthy to eat ANYTHING that has been put in the microwave, including water.

  • @squiggyflop Watch the YouTube video "Using microwave to heat up your food is bad for your health"

  • Good job!!! I love the idea and you make me laugh, though...I can tell how much you like this stuff....

  • Repunzel tie up your hair

  • you have to keep pushing it down into the blades and it takes a really long time. I had to let my motor cool off twice between blendings. It does get really liquid though...

  • lol can you do it with real coconuts?

cuz i got real coconuts but i duno where to buy coconut flakes lol

  • @goldringlets1 i really have no idea.. ive never tried, sorry

  • @goldringlets1 - yes you CAN use real coconut; Crack the coconut and take off the hard outer shell. There are 3 eyes in the nut. find the softest one, use a knife to break it open. Drain the liquid center and discard or save for something else. Peal your coconut and take off as much of the brown as you can. Chop coconut into smaller pieces and put in a food processor; blend scraping down sides as needed until a nice butter forms. store in the fridge.

  • @ameysmith omg! thank you SO much!! I cant wait to try ~<3 your so awesome :D

  • @goldringlets1 Nope. I tried but it's too densely, so i add milk and little sugar, and it wasn't bad, but can't make butter.

  • You can brown the coconut shreads using oven or frying fan before you put it in the food processor. It'll produce a more flavorful brown coconut butter.

  • Thank you! :)

  • Hey Chick Ur Hair are much precious than the butter..I mean it..

  • I tried my blender & Ninja. Thought I was going to burn out both motors, they got really hot. The coconut never turned into butter:( It did get wetter, but I thought I better stop b4 i killed the motors.

  • @2Ryled it was sweetened coconut wasnt it.. that always happened to me before i figured out that i had to use *dry* UNSWEETENED coconut flakes.. those sweetened flakes will kill blenders and never ever turn into coconut butter..

  • Used unsweet.cocon. flakes. I tried brand found next to whole c.nuts in fruit sectn of groc stor. Thought it might be dried out/ or fat removed. So went to health food store bought organic unsweet.coconut flakes, in refrig section. Flakes were tiny bit moist, so I thought they still had fat in it. I even added a little water to it (about 2tbs) to help it along. Never turned to butter. My blender looks like urs too:( I guess gotta go buy a bullet at walmart. That butter looks amazing!

  • @2Ryled This happened to me as well. This is what I did: Press the coconut into the blender with something hard as you blend it. I used a coffee mug. Make sure you don't hit the blades however. I usually press for like two minutes or three and then it turns a little liquidy. After that just let it sit on high speed and you will have your butter! Never had a problem with burning the motor and my blender looks just like the one used here. Hope this helps. Let me know!

  • @informationgnrtr Why is this spam?

  • @unchatkitue i have no idea

  • this is great!!! and you are even more great!!!

can show how to make candies?

  • yay, this was great!! i luv cocnut i will be trying the butter!!!luv your channel!!

  • Using a Vita Mix or BlenTek high powered blender will be faster.

  • @gurugnorm thats very true, but i only have our little 20$ blender,

  • OMG....just sat down to order some Coconut Butter has you cannot buy the same here in the UK.......;O)

  • Thank you very much I just used coconut butter for the first time this past week for making sugar free candy and was trying to come up with a cost effective way to do it as The jar I bought was $10.00 Thank you again.

  • Thank YOU for this information. I will try it to get it not to hot to stay on the raw side...

  • @Piarom um in order to become liquid it gets warm, but no where near as warm as a bath.. and everyone knows you cant really cook anything in bath water right? it gets warm from the friction i think.. but not hot.. just a little warm.. like rubbing your hands together you know? trust me when i say that cooking it makes it taste very different, when it hits cooking temperatures it turns golden brown and takes on an even nuttier taste.. fresh out of the blender it just tastes like coconut

  • @Piarom um just measured the temperature of some fresh coconut butter, its 79 degrees.. thats not even as hot as the places where coconuts grow sitting in the sun so i think you are safe with keeping it raw. so while it felt warm to me it was only really feeling warm because my house is 55 degrees F.. so anyway, yeah, fresh its totally raw..

  • Very informative. Thanks for the vid. Love your gorgeous long hair as always. Awesome
