From shore, Daphnis plays his flute to lure the cows in the ship to one side, the ship sinks, and Daphnis swims out to rescue Chloe.The composition follows an ABBA structure: (A) harmony / order, (B) abduction / disruption around 3:03, (B) rescue at 6:26 with transition /reverse music at 6:37-6:40 (A) return to harmony / order 6:41-end.
