John Cassady's art in this arc in my opinion, is the best since John Byrne's Uncanny X-men run in the early 80s...nuff said!

Don't get me wrong, Jim Lee's run during '89-92 was amazing, but in my humble opinion when you read Cassady's work it's like the comic turns into a movie, I know it may sound corny, but thats my opinion, and thats why this run was so enjoyable to read. Jim Lee is definetly up there too!

I prefer the style of Spiderwoman to Astonishing X-Men. The animation found in Astonishing X-Men is too distracting and draws me away from the story whereas the style of Spiderwoman kept me drawn into the story, the art, and the action. It has a sort of Max Payne feel that I could appreciate. Also the animation of Astonishing X-Men also seems like low budget internet animation found in older flash videos.
