This version (the Sega Master System one) is way easier than the original one on arcade machine (or MAME on PC). There's no way you would defeat the octopus so quickly, just hitting him once and then jumping and hitting him 3 times with a single jump. On the other hand, there is way less money being provided in the SMS version (or the player in this video does not know how to get the 60-something coins or he was just very unlucky in this match).

Wow, youtube is really the tool to regain memories of games. I played the Wonderboy serie soo much, though it got really frustrating at times. I miss the times when you got time off to be challenged, now games are more and more made for challenged people that want a time off with mostly easy gameplay.

There was a cheat on this game. If u keep clicking the pause a lot (and i mean like a maniac) the money keep rising but u need to keep an eye on the timer. I found this while messing with my brother pushing the pause button to piss him :)
