It truely amazes me how people take on these breeds (and their not cheap) and just leave them like this. Dont they realise that they need daily grooming and see a prof groomer once a month/8weeks, need vet care, food, water, warmth, companionship etc. If you cant be bothered to groom then get a breed that doesnt need it so much.

Im very glad the little chap was found, rescued and found his forever home. Iv got a rescued Cairn x staffie/shih tzu and he is adoreable, he gets groomed daily.

when i saw this video, it made me wanna grab my lhasa apso for a day straight but luckily we keep his hair short to prevent matting in the first place but we brush him regardless.. heartless bastards, the owners should be shot..having the food bowl in the middle of the mud? WTFFFFFF!

that's horrible!!! what evil person would do that the matts looked like a whole other dog! those people who did that to the poor thing suck!!! the vets who helped him are so kind and saved his life. thank you soooo much!!!!!! the evil sicko who abandoned him should go to jail for animal cruelty for 50 years to think about what they've done!

this is horrible...how difficult is it to brush the dog out..or keep him shaved all the down or crap...even cut off the little tangles it gets. I have a shitzu poodle and even tho hes shaved down he still gets little mats but it takes me a whole 5 minutes to cut them off. These people were just lazy

I have a Maltese Shih tzu and as soon as he gets a matted knot no matter how small i take him to the vet nd get him groomed. i could never neglect my lil baby like that! SHAMEFUL PEOPLE!

This just broke my heart. I couldn't stop crying. That poor baby! I can't imagine how anyone could not see or care that Murray was suffering. I had to see this video again just so I could see the happy, happy ending it had.

i have a shih tzu, bobby, and i dont know how someone could let their dog get to this state!

I know they tangle quickly but my god thats terrible, sure bobbys had the odd matt behind the ears when he's scratched it too much in the sun...but there quickly removed, poor murray, i actually wat to cry for him :(

I've never seen anything like that. It looked like they shaved off pounds of matted fur. Thank goodness he was rescued.

well that certainly wont happen lilhelzi, although it would be nice yes. They'll most likely get some lame fine and possibly banned from owning pets for like a year or something shitty like that. Laws dont protect animals enough on this planet.
