  • again, im nuts for all her unreleased songs!

  • Another Stevie Gem!!!!!!!

  • whats this part ':Well, he is on my mind..he's everywhere

And if he followed me home,

will the sound of both of our voices simply disappear?

    Well, I miss you now...

    He laughs

He has an attitude so I have an attitude, too

He knocks on the door next to the courtyard

Well, he frightens me so, I let him in

But I'm already, well, I'm already screaming

How can the greatest love come from the greatest pain?' i looked up the lyrics and found that but ive never herd it

  • ♥♫♥ beautiful song ♥♫♥

  • The song is about being at Prince's house. Stevie was very much under the influence and passed out on Prince's stairs. He was the one who dragged her up the stairs to a bedroom to sleep it off. They didn't speak again as he was/is very anti-drug.

  • well thats princes loss...

  • I think she is mixing this up over alot of events in her life, Robin songbird, talking to her, writing through her, seems to be a strong hint reading betwenn Stevie's lines. in my humble opinion. :)

  • I have seen Stevie 54 Times LIVE(lake tahoe "55"), and over 400 vidoes and cds...This is one of my favs :)

  • magnificant!....it does seem like a thousand days.

  • Wow...this is the first time I've heard this song by Stevie Nicks. What a great sound.

Keep on keepin' on Stevie. Great talents die hard.

  • OK, thanks for the info :)

  • When was this song recorded?

  • Very beautiful song

  • Hay rockin roll mother fuckers this vid is the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think it means that she is upset cause shes going to be taken away on tour for what will be like a thousand days for her boyfriend she leaves behind?

  • where can i download this song? does anyone have the mp3 song of this?

  • ok i will admit i'm stupid.....but have never seen the 'enchanted' box set ever in the stores or advertised which leads me to believe that she didn't kiss anyone's ass, but come on now...why was it not advertised or pushed as they say?

  • u bet she didnt kiss ass.... way to go, Sister!

  • thank you so much for this one. consider myself a freak fan of stevie's. but have never heard this one. where is it from? someone please tell an old fool

  • One of my many favorites. My kids love it too!

  • Great to get your kids involved!

  • Stevie is so honest and real here in her lyrics about her being asleep and being dragged up the stairs.

    Scary.

  • I know, when I hear that I always wonder what its about.. maybe something in a dream?

  • @blackbirdsky I'm not sure if this written for that time period, but I know that at one point she was addicted to pills, pain killers I think.

  • @spiffytiffy05 I never heard anything about Ms. Nicks being addicted to pain killers. I have heard her talk about being prescribe Klonopin which is a muscle relaxer in the benzodiazepam family that is often used for anxiety problems and withdrawal from drugs including alcohol and cocaine. It is very addictive and even if one takes it as prescibed and carefully one can develop a tolerance and dependence accidently which is what happened in her case.

  • @blackbirdsky I think some of it is about the addiction and being lost in it for so many years and wasted time and finally getting kicked in the head by consequences and finally 'waking up' and getting free from it. Her songs always seem to me to be talking about many things at once and also able to be interpreted specifically for each listener's unique situations.

  • I actually liked the video specifically the one scene with Stevie and the horse! Give yourself more credit Blackbird! BEING HAPPY AND HAVING FUN IS A GOOD THING! NEVER FORGET IT! Thank you!

  • This song is so amazing!!! I love it so much!

  • This is my favorite Stevie Nicks song! Thanks for putting this up here.

  • Your Welcome =]

  • Does anyone know when this was recorded, i know it was a scrapped demo from RAL/ Mirror Mirror, but it doesn't sound like stevie from that era

  • I believe it was produced in 1998, by Stevie herself and Chris Lord-Alge.

  • Cool, i really love this song, i think it really could have been a hit for stevie...

Ty for posting, i really have to buy Enchanted

  • Um.. it is spelt 'arch' but it is pronounced either way.. often varies on where you live. It would be no help to her because the song is already made and she probably know that. I believe the rain putting out the sun is figure of speech. Besides, its creative, lighten up.

  • i'm digging the song, i like it

  • Why thankyou Char, I'm a huge Stevie Nicks buff, and always wanted to do one of these things.. and since this song isn't on Youtube....

  • Ive only ever heard it pronounced Arc...and that's in UK and Ireland

  • Those lyrics! Nice vid. :)
