Don't hate on the evo X it uses an aluminum engine. this means it can take more heat and produce more power than the cast iron 4G63 2.0L. so yes even though the body is heavier you can swap the turbo for a bigger one and take out the spare tire and replace the battery with a lighter one to make it faster

Motorex stopped importing Skylines to the US, and you assclowns don't have enough money to buy an R34 anyway. Go to their website to read about all the things YOU didn't have to do to get a Skyline into the US. To say there aren't any in the US just shows you did no research, there are plenty in the US. Paul Walker even owns 2 R34 GT-Rs himself. Think before you speak, please.

Actually, if you choose to import a Skyline, there are modifications required by the DOT, but they don't affect the driveline. Beneathe the front and rear aprons, the actual bumpers must be lengthened and raised to meet DOT regulations for a passenger car of whatever year model Skyline you import. Japan's emissions regulations were already stricter than the US and you can get a special waiver that allows you to register a RHD car here in the States. You're on your own for insurance.
