  • nice tattoo

  • lol i love the beginning! HEY GOOD PEOPLE!it scared me!!

  • @GantonioG buy a new one dude

  • @GantonioG O_O you should tune it....

  • Hi David

    Thanx for the vid.

It would be nice if you introduce a number of turnarounds that would work with barred chords, say a Blues in F, F#, G, G#, B of in effect any place down the fretboard on the sixth or fifth string. I'm wondering how the placing of the fingers would work out.

    TX in advance! Rob.

  • that stretch on the b6 is a killer

  • @GantonioG mmmmm tune it...

  • Hey Dave, can these be played on a solidbody electric or are they strictly turnarounds for an acoustic?

  • Hi - yes, you can play these on acoustic or electric - have fun and keep on rocking!

    David T

  • @puckdiv i dont give a shit how the dude looks. not once did i mention how he looks. im talking strictly about his lessons. they are boring and all he does is talk talk talk. hes not teaching anything remotely complicated and it doesnt even sound great. he just also happens to dress liike he is 12 but im talking about his teaching crudentials. you obviously have issues with homosexuals tho and you frankly seem to be struggling with your own sexuality since you are quick to call someone else gay.

  • Hi Dave. Very nice. However you do call out the 6th note on the 5 chord, but actually you're using 6th on the I and II as well. Also, if the turnaround is started on the 2 beat it sounds a little more elequent. A very good lesson though!!

  • ive been looking for this lick for awhile now!

thanks much! ur guys vids r always awesome :)

  • Thanks for the videos, you guys are great!

  • You guys are great. Thanks

  • Hey just wondering what model Taylor you have there?

  • @xAugust10x i agree trolls go away!!

  • Hearing the blues makes me :)

  • @GantonioG burn it!

  • @GantonioG Tune it! There are lots of online guitar tuners that you can click on the image of each string, hear the note, and match your guitar to.

  • @GantonioG tune it?

  • @GantonioG Tune it? Look up websites where you can tune it by hearing each string and matching them up.

  • I enjoy watching and thanks for doing these videos. I like your dog, real pretty. You guys have a very good Thanksgiving. - d P.S. I thought everyone played snare on their guitar???

  • @GantonioG Buy a new one, once it's out of tune it's finished!

  • @Metalmiltia I have 4 i'll sell ya Ha! Ha!

  • thanks bro!!

  • How do I pick those 2 snares with 1 guitar pick? Can you explain that?

  • @Joymenomore A snare is a drum, this is a guitar. Guitars have strings.

  • @GantonioG throw it away

  • @GantonioG Tune it!!! LOL

  • I think you guys at next level guitar are great. You help soo much and you do it for free. Thank you.

  • ur such an awesome tutor...kudos :)

  • Why is it always people like this crucify guy, who at 22, seem to be all attitude and angst.

We are only here to learn and discuss, I don't think anyone is being offensive apart from you!!

  • @crucifyme88 How is that offensive, I think it is a pertinent question....

  • You're lessons are really improving. I enjoyed this.

  • sir, you make this seem so easy!! love to listen and learn from you!!

  • @GantonioG BLAST IT WITH PISS!

  • @crucifyme88 What's offensive about that ? I was just watching a programme on the origin of the blues and the synthesis between music from the planatations and other musical forms such as church music. I was hoping someone with more musicology than you obviously have could answer my question. Perhaps the first recorded useage ? Oh well, with a moniker like that, perhaps you seek conflict rather than knowledge.

  • I-IV-V refers to the chords i.e 1-4-5 (the chord progression)

in the key of A this is A-D-E

in the key of E its E-A-B

  • Thanks again!

  • Ok, can somebody explain what that I-IV-V means? Is that something having to do with rhythm and counting?

  • @jakemk21 it refers to scale tones

    so. C Major:

    C D E F G A B

    the I IV V of that would be C F G

    and they are all major.

  • @tombrenttomb Ok, great. Thanks, I thought it was more complex than that.

  • @jakemk21 music isn't complex once you figure out how it works. just take your time with the basics.

  • simple and effective, very nice stuff

  • @crucifyme88 I was merely stating which mods could be used for this.

  • Up around the 5min mark it sounds kinda like the leadin to the Bonnie and Clyde song.

  • good video

  • I wonder if you know who first found this turnaround ? Was it Bach or some old cotton picker on a plantation somewhere in the old south ?

  • @GowanBray Nice suggestion and not at all offensive!

  • b6 is impossible for me to play, lol

  • E Aeolian,A Dorian,B Phyrigian.

  • @GantonioG punch it in the kidney

  • @GantonioG kill yourself

  • @GantonioG get a tuner and tune it.. it should be tuned thickest string to thinnest, Eadgbe

  • I don't like blues, but I'll deffinetly try this!

  • @GantonioG tune it

  • @GantonioG Smash it.

  • sorry for this stupid question, but..

how do you play for example highes and lowest string together with a pickup?

  • @marino4691

That's something I wonder about too!

  • @Joymenomore ye.. i dont get it xD

  • nice i like how you put tabs in this lesson you should put in in all of your futur vids

  • Gread David! THANKS!

  • awesome

  • hit women

  • Nice guitar sounds.
