  • 1:29 Joe Lando aka Byron Sully of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman

  • I love Checkov's expression as they wheel him down the hall. That slow, dawning, "What the hell...?" is just the best.

  • "My God, man! Drilling holes in his head's not the answer!" I love Bones. He's hilarious. It would have been terrible if they HAD drilled holes in his head!

  • Chekov's like lalala, what's going on? I have to watch this movie!

  • As of 2011, we still drill holes into peoples head to relieve the pressure of an epidural hematoma, just like the 80s. As of yet, there really is no other way to save someone, Liam Neeson's wife died because of an epidural hematoma and so did that NASCAR driver Dan Wheldon. So it's drilling holes into heads,...unless we had that little funky gizmo Bones has that somehow heals the artery as well as getting rid of the blood that had built up in the brain.

  • Nobody expects the spanish inquisition!

  • I always thought that the best characters in the show were Chekov and McCoy. Had crushes on bosh of them, although I could never bring myself to admire the shat's toupee. o_o

  • I had forgotten how completely amazing DeForest Kelley was as McCoy.

  • if only nano and stem cell tech in real life was advanced enough to actually grow spare organs (that quickly) for patients...

  • Sounds like a goddamn spanish inquisiton :D

  • 1:27 Joe Lando aka Byron Sully on Dr Quinn Medicine Woman

  • @valjoedg

OMG he was sooo young there ^^

    nice observation ^^

  • @Fawkes22 What can I say it's my favorite Star Trek movie and my favorite mountain man all in one show. Ah sigh......

  • @valjoedg

hehe don't we all want our favorite mountain man? :P

  • I watched that just because I love how Bones acts.

  • Oh McCoy, How you hate our Medical times!

  • docter gave me a pill and i grew a new kidney.... aaww love mccoy and this scene thanks for putting it up X3

  • i feel bad for the guy with the broken foot and crutches

  • my favorite Star Trek movie.... heck one of my favorite Sci-Fi films of all time and I'm not even a Trekkie!!! And the music was epic.

  • HEROES!!!

  • McCoy: Dammit do you want an acute case on your hands? This woman has immediate postprandidal, upper abdominal distension! Now outta the way outta the way! Kirk: WHat did you say she had? McCoy: Cramps. hahaha

  • love that stupid smile on chekov's face when saying his rank is admiral lol

  • I love this clip but it always makes me cry because int the 25 years since this was made, how much progress have we made?? not that much, as 7 of 9 commented human physiology is susceptible to a variety of diseases and I would add, far too many, still incurable. We're still in the dark ages

  • I also love the way McCoy always stops to help all those people. He's probably my favorite in the whole cast.

  • "You came in with a she!"

    "One little mistake..."

Reason why I love Star Trek #9762

  • The chase scene always reminded me of something from an early Woody Allen film.

  • "I grew a new kidney" hahaha love it!

  • I don't about anyone else, but I'd have loved to seen the looks on the faces of those 2 cops when they saw the elevator was empty

  • "What did you say she's got??"

    "Cramps"

    lol, classic

  • You know what's sad? This movie is 20+ years old . And we're still doing Dialysis. It's a big money maker. Dialysis doctors, nurses, clinics, etc.

Sad that more money is to be made keeping chronic conditions chronic. A lot of money to be lost if they no longer were chronic conditions requiring dialysis.

Sad but true. One can only hope though a day comes that we can do what Dr. MCCoy did here. It should be the goal of every health professional.

  • Running Running Running!

    Chekov watching the lights...

    Running Running Running!

Raises head, Kirk shoves him down by the face "Not Now."

  • I just love this clip! Moments like this are why I am a Trekkie :)

  • I love how upset McCoy is about the ridiculous state of 20th century medicine.

  • One of my favorite scenes!

  • Proof that Star Trek is more advanced: most people can't get a cell phone signal in an elevator, but you can get a transporter signal!

  • Just really funny

  • LOL drilling holes in his head is not the answer

  • @QuelDr0ma

    "Fundoscopic examinations?!"

    :D

  • dialysis!? what is this the dark ages?

  • Yes, we must discreetly enter the facility to save Chekov ..... "What is this, the Dark Ages!" Love ya, Bones! RIP, DeForrest Kelley.

  • @ 3:36 it would have been funnier if Kirk said. "Sex change operation." xD

  • "We're dealing with MEDIEVALISM here."

*drops expensive medical equipment on the floor*

  • i love chekov name...Chekov, rank, admiral, and MCcoy is epic here total hosiptal rescue

  • This is such a cute film. :D

  • Name...? Chekov. Pavel. Rrrrank? Admiral. XD gotta love Chekov.

  • is it just me or the music absolutely hysterical at 3:55, i love when chekov tries to sit up but kirk pushes him back down saying not now

  • Listen carefully at the beginning of the clip for the announcement 'Calling Dr Sandi Zobar'. This was the name of Leonard Nimoy's first wife - he was the director and was still married to her at the time.

  • Where's the sound on this clip?

  • @TheBoocool it's not an episode, it's a full movie.

  • whats this episode called??????

  • @TheBoocool movie. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

  • I have to say that Joe Lando looks mighty good in this movie. :D

  • I never got into Star Trek like I did with Star Wars but I loved this movie as a kid!

  • Gosh, why Chekov is so beautiful,so adorable??Walter Koenig is 49 years old here,but...look at his baby face!

  • @GreenBaldrick So True XD

  • BAHAHA!!! I ROFLED the whole time!! XD what's the episode called?

  • It would be my favorite episode too, if it was actually an episode instead of a full length movie

  • I don't think there is any pill that could be invented that would cure kidney failure... but that would sure be cool!

"Sounds like the goddamn spanish inquisition to me..."

    Ahhhhh bones...

There's a problem though - Bones hates the transporter! I guess he must transport a lot irregardless...

  • I love how concerned they are. So sweet. :)

  • Oh my, I love this. And what is great, is they use the music in the blooper reel for the new movie. X) I love Bones... Karl Urban started it, but DeForrest is fantastic. I'm a newly converted trekkie. =D

  • @SharkDeschain GASP! DeForest Kelley is the BEST! Do you mean to say that you like Karl Urban better!!!!

Yes, Karl Urban was the best of the new people, but nothing, NOTHING, can beat the original.

    I love DeForest Kelley.

    R.I.P. Mr. Kelley. :(

  • Certainly the best Star Trek movie ever!

  • "What 'd you say she had?"

    "Cramps."

    LOL!

  • 4:05 "Not now, Pavel."

    LMAO!

  • my sister knew what he said gillian had.

  • "MY GOD MAN! Drilling holes in his head is not the answer!" <3 you to death and beyond, McCoy.

  • lol smooth operation doctor.

  • what the heck

  • McCoy looks like a natural in those scrubs

  • Love how McCopy is so disgusted with the current medical technology. "What is this, the Dark Ages?"

  • @olivemike81 that's actually 2 birds with one stone in star trek, it shows how advanced mccoys healthcare is compared to ours while at the same time makes fun of how in the show most advanced races, especially ones with healing abilities called mccoys technology primitive

  • FULLY FUNCTIONAL, I DONT GET IT! ;)

    awesome

  • sound only coming out of the left speaker...

    Other videos are OK.

  • next time I rescue someone in hospital, I'll do what they are doing

like the dialogue, acting and music, + the film

  • @neb1029 because people always rescue people from the hospital. ;)

  • great video! xD

  • OMG: I was watching this with my dad when the icecream truck went by. It was at the part where bones put that thing on his head. And my dad's like "Why is Checkov's head sing 'Pop goes the wessel?!'

    It was so funny!!!!

  • @NCISHouceHPPotCfan

    *giggle~snort*

  • Ah, Bones, this clip just proved why I love you. Chekov is cute at any age, isn't he? And Kirk, can't forget him! ;)

  • I -know- I'm not hearing things. I have pretty good hearing. When Bones put that thing on Chekov's forehead, I heard a flatline. Please tell me I'm not hearing things. Even my mother said she heard it.

  • yes, i hear it to. CHEKOV IS DEAD NOOOOOO!!!!

  • @CordeliaDoyle probably temporarily severed the spinal cord to fix the problem then restimulated the cortical response. a similar procedure happened in Star Trek: Voyager episode 'Latent Image'

  • I love this part of that movie.

I once mentioned this part; as a question, in my psychologist class in my college. And somebody says "maybe that kind of medication is a few light years away'. I think that person says that.

  • I love this!

'you came in with a woman!?'

    'one small mistake'

  • Who do you THINK it is?!

  • hey i was a bit confused then

    i was tired

    lol

  • yes he's the one thats not kirk!

  • i know now

    i was stupid then...

    mwahaha

  • What episode is this? Chekov is my favorite!

  • I think this is from one of the movies. As you can tell that Chekov looks a lot older than in the series. I believe it's number 4, but I could be wrong.

  • It's #4.

  • This is not an episode. This is the movie, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

  • Oh,okay-thank you very much:)

  • Yes,this is a great scene!

  • @bubblewrapbump Spock is the best character ever, but McCoy is WAY up there as well. I'd rank him number 2.

  • I love this scene. I liked the part where they were running down the hall and Chekov looked like he was going to throw up.

  • I love this scene! The "doctor gave me a pill & i grew a new kidney" (which, i think, wasn't scripted?), the music, the running, the fact that McCoy stops to make sure the guy with the cast is okay... It's all so awesome~. Thank you for uploading this!

  • This, totally! And when he takes that piece of equipment and just tosses it aside.

  • You know, this is quite true: if you look and act like you belong somewhere, you are more or less invisible. Love this scene.

  • I like them in the "old" medical outfits. My favorite scene from Star Trek IV.

  • Yes, they look good in those! Quaint! lol.

  • I love this scene. It's one of my favorites.

  • Yes, mine too!

  • The scene when the older lady grows a new kidney puts a smile on my face every time I see it.

  • I hope they come out with that miracle drug soon! The Planet needs it.

  • @GEMINITREKKER I agree. However, I suspect the medicine and technology is out there; but why treat a patient one time when you can treat a patient multiple times? I betcha GREED is holding back technology and medicines.

  • @GEMINITREKKER If the Democrats attack on Big Pharma succeeds dont hold your breath!

  • @steilsp "Doctor gave me a pill And I grew a new kidney

  • "Modern medicine" is almost completely taken over by Eugenics...
