@omaraty009 Oh, I've seen Advent Children and I though it was gorgeous! Don't get me wrong, I have the deepest respect for anyone who works with 3D films, but I find 3D to be rather cold. I have no idea how to explain it, but I never get tired of a well-executed 2D-animated while movies like any 3D movie, visually speaking, don't do it for me. I might be excited at first, but after that the feeling fades away rather quickly. Superior sounds rather pretentious, but if you feel that way.

Koji morimoto has done good work involving 2d and cg, But his characters are done in 2d because--he said this himself in a interview--making convincing life like characters in 3d is close to impossible if it`s supposed to be a human, It lacks the emotion you can achieve using 2d characters.

Extremely good and specialized 3d animators like the guy that did the sequence with mary and james in silent hill 2 can pull off pretty pretty realistic/believeable facial expression

@omaraty009 This is going to make it seem like i`m coming with a contrary opinion to everything you say. James Camerons avatar was Not animation. There where nofacial animators, Every single movement on the actors face is traduced on the cg model in real time. Real time motion capture is not animation, It`s real.time. motion. capture. There is no animator In this process at all. They then render it in hd later when the m.c. is done. Thats it.
