i put a cobalt co9 mic with two socks over it in front of the bass drum...that's it...i mess around with the EQ when the tracks are on my computer a little but nothing too serious

yea...i run the mic to a Tascam DP-02CF (about $300). I don't use expensive equipment at all. It's not studio quality but hey it gets the job done for youtube!

oh lol thats more then i wudve spent i just got a behinger mixer for 200 and i got four drum mics but my stuff doesn't sound anywhere near as good as yours im pretty much a noob wen it comes to the mixer stuff it's to complicated..lol

lol it takes some gettin used to but after you do it for a while it's really not hard at all...just do it more often and it'll be really easy really fun and sound really good
